After some testing it's not really viable, it uses too much hardware, too much AP to install a decent version of it, and has a low chance so it's completely useless against private servers.
Suggestion: Add remote leech ability, hours would rack up and you can remote activate it like a malware, the percentage will be lowered slightly and it'd have an AP cost to compelte remote leeches (unlike local ones)
Thoughts?
This way it could be used more like a LAN scanner, to find other gateways owned by the same player.

I've managed to get some pretty usefull private IP's. Are you sure you've explored all of the leecher's capabilities ?

I agree with Alpha. I was really hoping this would become a viable option versus the IP dealer.

I was actually hoping it would replace IP dealer entirely.

Me too (I actually suggested it). And it can ... if AP cost were a little lower and the chances a little higher.
But it's not as useless as you say it is, that's why I'm still wondering if you guys had figured things out yet.

I think the IP dealer needs to go. That's me, though.

Care to enlighten us? I think I'm missing something that maybe you've figured out?

Oh, I'm guessing it'll start passing out IP's of anyone in the group.

On our own group server or an enemies?
If its an enemies then its still the same problem of having the time to let it build up without them just changing IP, especially when it only costs HPD

OK, it might a spoiler but I guess anyone who wants to will figure it out soon enough, so here it goes: you actually can install a leech on your own gateway and it'll spit out other players' IP's.
But it would require a little tweaking of AP cost and succesrate before I'd remove the IP dealer.
