Title: Question on software versions for following programs
Post by: sovietpride on July 01, 2008, 01:29:06 PM

What would having a higher version data uplink hi-jack do?

Also:

Does having a higher hide program decrease the time it takes to hide files, or just make it harder to unhide the files?

Am i correct in saying that high-end malware works faster than low end malware?

Also, when it says virii are inactivated after an ip chage, does that mean the owner of the gateway they own now possess them? or they ust continue working just not sending naything?

thank you.

You can only hijack up to the level of the hijacker.
Harder to unhide.
Yes.
They consume resources, but do not function otherwise.  Must still be AV'ed

Just another question;
Is it possible to "reactivate" the virus and get profits again. And if so can everyone do it or just the one who finished the install in the first place?

If a Spyware is blocking your virus, you may disinfect it to regain profits. If the virus disconnects due to an IP change it's not possible to re-activate it.
