Title: Things that have needed fixing for 4+ months part 2
Post by: virus man on March 02, 2009, 06:01:09 AM
Format HDD still takes far to long.  30+ days for a format is a tad sad especially when PW Break is capped at 1 hour

everything takes far too long

if it took me 12hours to delete a 700m avi file i'd have given up on computers ages ago

I believe this was suggested at one point and a cap of 48 hours or some such was approved. The link should be in the summary list.

Here we go...

So that makes 3 files missing? Cause I read in another topic you made that the Log Undeleter was missing also right?

That is correct.

I am still looking for bugs etc as well as gathering data for the Client UI with all the recent changes.

You were once busy with an Excel file, that would be very helpful to everyone in the community.

I don't remember the details about the exact benefits of the file but what I was wondering: are you still busy with it or did you start with it and never ended it?

The excel file would only work with excel 2007 or above due to limitations in calculations in previous versions.

I still have it although it is VERY outdated at this point.

As for the Client UI it is being made based on ideas that Titam had approved about half way through R1.

It is going to be made in a couple different languages by various people I am working with.

But that is something for another thread than this one /lol

Did all 20 votes.  Got no rewards for them and 2 or 3 were not even valid domain names any more.

You probably got AP for those and AP wont show up in the finance log... I will fix the links, ty.

And yeah, the format cap of 48h will be set asap.
