Well, Sir Emi...

Let's say; i want to make Ebolla angry;

So, i change my server name to " RavenXP's Dedicated Server " ( as i'm gold ) and make he become angry with RavenXP...

To avoid this kind of confusion ( and make people more likely to use NMap Scanner and Scan Blocker ) ; why don't the scan tells who's the owner of the server scanned ? 8D

I've actually thought about that once or twice, instead of having just ping there for no reason on the options for connecting (I use it maybe once every now and then if I expect that an IP doesn't exist anymore and don't want to break my connection) why not have like nslookup or something, would return the name of the server attached to the given IP address...

RL pinging Hacker-project.com in progress:

Code:
C:\ ping 74.208.14.61

Sending signals to [74.208.14.61] with 32 byte data:

Answer from 74.208.14.61: byte=32 time=153ms TTL=44
Answer from 74.208.14.61: byte=32 time=154ms TTL=44
Answer from 74.208.14.61: byte=32 time=151ms TTL=44
Answer from 74.208.14.61: byte=32 time=151ms TTL=44

Ping-statistics for 74.208.14.61:
Packet: Sent = 4, recieved = 4, Lost = 0 <0 %>,
Approximate transfer speed in milliseconds:
Lowest = 151 ms, Highest = 154 ms, Average = 152 ms

C:\

I translated it myself from swedish.

nslookup 74.208.14.61

Name:    u15257778.onlinehome-server.com
Address:  74.208.14.61

That's what I get when I run an nslookup on the IP that dent listed.

It would be pretty cool to have that and you could find the name of the server without connecting to it and breaking your current connection.

To avoid this kind of confusion ( and make people more likely to use NMap Scanner and Scan Blocker ) ; why don't the scan tells who's the owner of the server scanned ? 8D

After already posting an almost identical suggestion (Ever tried reading other suggestions first?), I can say that the only way I'd accept this as an 'update' would be if the file used to decipher who owns what server is only accessible to gold members, as only gold members can edit their servers.

hj its not that people cant afford gold, its the lack of payment options. i usually pay for my subscriptions via phone or paypoint or something of that nature (im in the uk), and im under 18 so its hard for me to get my debit card sorted out properly.

That's no reason to kill a feature of gold status.

Besides, a PayPal account is worldwide and accepts credit and debit cards. You could do like my little brother does to pay for games. He pays his parents' cash and they use the card through his PayPal account. Quick, easy, secure. Also, in your case, favorable to the Pound.
