Donn.....all this posting of yours sounds like nothing more than sour grapes. I think your just upset that you can't just walk in and hack me anymore and steal MY RESEARCH whenever you want. Did i do this to block my BW so you and the few who could actually crack me couldn't just walk in and steal what you want....YES I DID. It's called strategy....it may not be to your liking but I just used what I had to make my position better....i'm sorry if you don't like it but that's too bad....It's funny you keep throwing out the saying free rider but basically from what I can see about your gameplay you just hack and steal everyone elses work  so wouldn't that make you a free rider as well living off the work of others??  I'm not aware of any research you've done(I may be wrong). If i'm wrong then please let me know...this is not meant to be a flame. I am asking in all sincerity.

You say by what i'm doing I basically killed PvP...well let me ask you this...besides hacking me everyday what other PvP do you do?????? From my understanding PvP means Player vs Player....when is the last time this game had any REAL PvP action going??? I would say it was mostly near the end of last round when everyone was jockeying for position in the top 10 before the reset. There has been to this point in round 2 no real PvP and while my setting up this "Repo" maybe contributing to the lack of said PvP play it was dead long before.

On a side note....what does FOAD mean??

Well as a reminder Emi, secret servers are starting to pop...and as of yet I don't know anything you have done in regards to the missions started WAY before you instituted this update that are soon to go bye bye. I would like to think that after waiting over 650 hrs for a mission to complete that it's not just gonna disappear and oh well mr/mrs player better luck next time or have you come up with a way to speed these older missions up so they complete prior to the IP change popping??

Not directed at you in any way...just stating fact that if Emi changed the specific's of Faith/Rev we won't know til it's tested. I have no intention of doing anything with Rev at this time...but it does add a nice boost to power ranking!!

If memory server me correctly at the end of Round 1 Emi said he was going to adjusting Install/Disinfect times in regards to Rev and Faith.....I don't know if he did anything with that but he stated he would but there would be only one way to find out.

Look.....I put alot of work into where I am now and I decided to be nice and share my good fortune with others and the first post I get is  IP or GTFO.....what kinda crap is that....I made the mistake of assuming that people knew my main server but I was wrong...but instead if hitting me with a post like that all someone had to do is ask....which a couple people did and I informed them.....I'll admit I made the first mistake in that regards but really....is that anyway to speak to someone.

Donn: I wasn't generalizing....I just stating how I feel about things but again I guess I was wrong....while I won't be quitting the game because of the forums I shall refrain from posting here anymore unless it's in regards to a bug.....I will still be grinding along so if anyone needs help with anything feel free to message me ingame.

Secondly...again my ignorance but what does FOAD mean??? This is one of the main reasons I usually don't post on here unless it is of relevance cause i don't speak this new younger language many on here seem to speak. Guess it's my age showing.

Third...i have nothing against newbs.

Fourth....I'm not here to make people stay...i'm here to play a game and it is that game and not how people speak on the forums that should determine whether someone stays or not. If the game is good enough then the rest is irrelevant.

I don't think i'm special in the least....I just don't make posts unless there is a need for it.....I'm not some person who just loves to hear him/her self speak(or in this case post). I have made my server into a temporary Repository....I have made my top software currently available to the public...Don't have to worry bout cracking me or anything....Happy Downloading...

Question....probably stupid but I must ask.....what do we have a need for a moderator and what would the moderator do if one was assigned????

really not that much so nothing to fear there. I agree that some advanced notice as to WHEN the update was to go into effect would have been nice.

Yes and no...but it would be a low percentage like getting the IP of the person when you run a Virus Identifier. It's not meant to be a simple matter of crack and scan and auto gain admin...the chances are very low but it would add a PvP element to the game.

Here's an idea which might encourage a little more PvP in the game.   You first would have to hack someones server, then start a scan...you would have to remain logged into their server for the duration of the scan so it would have to be like a 20 min scan or so unlike a regular IP scan where you can scan it and leave. During the scan process it compares your IP database with that of the target...it identifies common IPs of both databases and inparticular ones that you currently don't have admin access to with those your target does...at the end of scan there is a chance(whatever random probability outcome is programmed) there is a chance you would be able to steal that servers password and gain Admin access to it without having to hack it yourself. Just a rough idea. I dont have any programming experience so I don't know if this is even feasible.
