Title: how do i get a sniffer off my system? Post by: DOGSPM on August 10, 2008, 02:12:46 AM Ok, i know this sounds stupid, but i intstalled a sniffer on my system to help me see whos hacking me, but when i go into software to check the logs, it says there are none, so its not doing what i wanted it to do, and its taking up valuable resources, so i really want it gone.

Post by: DamascuS on September 29, 2008, 12:32:20 PM Spyware Anti-Virus Dont you think it is a bit weird that you need an antispyware to remove a sniffer :D there should be an anti sniffer ;D Now that post was a little pointless, like in real life, a sniffer would fall under the category of 'spyware' or even 'data hijacking' as instead of stealing HPD etc, it only steals IP's of connection not running a cloaker, so in my opinion, having to use anti-spyware to disinfect a sniffer is quite logical.
