But... if they have already been under deletion for a few days.. then it would not be an entirely unrealistic deadline. Depending on how many days it has been deleting....

And it shouldn't be the 8k for any reason, seeing as all three people that had been "allowed" by the FU to have it should be deleting it themselves. If they are not, then they obviously should not be in either the FU or retain the ability to host Rev.

Why would you assume that it's all one guys doing? All it would take would be a group of 10 friends, that all have gold. Name the servers with Revelation installations SoTL and you have what appears to be one man. As for his idiocracy(idiocy?), personally it's common sense. You can't touch the newb servers, you cant touch the Rev virus while it's being installed, if they were serious, they could pull it off quite easily.

As for their statement about the Tsar Project.. I agree. The FU should have stopped it before it began. The fact that it had persisted, means that the FU has failed in their MO. And that the FU is willing to toss it's own MO to the wayside if certain conditions are met. Now, because of the research put into it, and the SoTL with their newbie servers, there is no way to even patch this break. Even if FU deleted all of their copies of the 2.45 Rev, there would still be the 2.45 Rev on the SoTL newbie servers.

But.. I see the same problem happening with SoTL. They say they abhor the use of Revelation... and yet they are keeping copies. They are installing them. They are in sense attempting to replace SGP's terrorism with a greater threat of their own. "Get rid of your versions or we will cause doomsday." So they are in essence no different then SGP(I'm assuming are the owners of Tsar).

Now, as for who they are... at least one of them has at one point or time been a FU member. Obviously someone that is either a user of the VB or Spyware. Or has been severely punished for the use of it beforehand. Also it is likely these people have been the targets of Tsar at one time or another. (Of course this is all speculation based on their "statement of purpose")


On a side note.. this will be interesting to see how it turns out. Who will cave.. or who will push the big red button first just to say, "I killed you before you killed me."    An issue of pride is what it is now....

But the public servers are one of the few places PvP happens.. fairly often.  Admittedly it is a fairly restricted PvP, but some none-the-less.

I see... but that's in part due to everyone knowing about it probably having downloaded the software from it already. You guys could always try advertising it in the True Light Server logs. Since that's where the majority of the new people will go for their software. Of course then there will be more idiots that attempt to harm it probably. But it's a trade-off

Out of curiosity.. why are you deleting a lot of the stuff on the HJSoft™ Repo?

so... i just checked the revelation thing... and saw that there's a rev virus on "Sobey's Dedicated Server", not installed yet. and only  v 0.1.

is he part of the test or just someone that's gonna regret their decisions in a bit?

So what if we traded for the software, and didnt get it from the Repo's? Or traded people that had traded for it?

Well, I suppose I will add my 2 cents, if it's even worth 2 cents, lol.

Even if we reset this server, it would only change things for awhile. The people and groups that got to the top ten got there because of the tactics they used. Ruthless tactics(in some cases), lol, but very effective. So yea, it would make it even, and there may be a few close runners for the top ten. But ultimately it would probably be the same people at the top in a month.

However I do like ^'s idea.

you could... always start a new account? you should still have most of your IP's copied somewhere. so any of the software you got that you stole you can get back.. as far as I know having more than one account isn't illegal, just as long as you don't use both of them to gang up on one person or try to use your old account as a farm.

You know by quitting you're letting him win. Just think of this as adding some excitement to the game. It's always more.. intense knowing someones coming after you. It keeps you on your toes.
