Use it to research your firewall or password protect software and bounce bounce 

To make it work, you need two different Breaker software versions. One is lower then the other.

Start the lower version, start the crack process. Run the higher version and crack some other server.

Repeat the process with as many breakers as you have starting from the lower to the highest version. You may need to stop them all and restart one by one starting with the lower.

You could always install your own virii on your gateway and make it inoperable to others short of remote disinfect. That way when you come back you have some spare HPD as the virus works for you and others will have a hard time remote disinfecting.

If you got a nasty virus just before vacation, have a friend remote-disinfect you or if you have Gold, backup your data on the Secure FTP and Format HDD with IP change.

Correct, a good hijacker needs good decryption software, as all the files you will hijack are encrypted, regardless of their original state.

Instead of vacation mode if you need to take a break you could install the virus yourself on your gateway. That way, when you come back you'll have some spare HPD since the virus will work for you. Just an idea 

You can now send a donation bonus to an ingame friend or upgrade his account to Gold

To send a HPD donation to friend:
- click on "Support Us" or "Gold Account", scroll the page down and click "Send donation bonus to friend here"

To upgrade a friend to Gold:
- click on "Support Us" or "Gold Account", scroll the page down and click "Upgrade friends account to Gold here"

Then just search for his username or ID and select him from the list. Then click one of the donation buttons.

Hardware affects how many and how powerful programs you can run.

In some special cases, you can overload a software to use more resources and make it work faster / better at a high resource expense, but that's special, most of the tasks depend on the target file size / version / etc.

To be able to properly do this, you should acquire a "Hide Files" software and an "Unhide Files" software.
The "Unhide Files" version has to be greater or equal then the "Hide Files", or you will not be able to find and un-hide the file later.

How to hide (localhost / remotehost):

- go to your "Files / Programs" and search in ETC for the "Hide Files" software.
- click "Run" to start the program, it eats some resources so make sure you have enough.
- go to "Files / Programs" and click on "Hide" in the action of any file you see
- check your "Running Software" for the remaining time on the hide process, should not take long, but depends on the file size.
- click task complete on the hide process
- your file is now hidden, in order to SEE it, you HAVE to actively run an "Unhide Files" software on the gateway
- if you have the "Unhide Files" software running you should be able to see a [hidden with V x.x] next to the file name


How to un-hide (localhost / remotehost):

- make sure you have the active "Unhide Files" running on your gateway. "Run" the "Unhide Files" program if not already active.
- go to the "Files / Programs" and look for the hidden file, it should be marked with [hidden with V x.x] next to the file name
- on the hidden file action menu, where it previously said "Hide" it should now say "UnHide"
- click "UnHide" and wait for the process to finish.
- click complete task to complete the unhide process
- the file is now visible to everyone


Tips & Tricks:

- you can run the "Hide Files" software only when needed, e.g. you uploaded a virus, you start the hide process, hide the vir and stop the program. That way you can save up on resources.
- you can run "Unhide Files" software only when you are actively searching for a hidden file to save up on resources. If you do this on your gateway, make sure you note somewhere what files you have hidden 
- if you hide / unhide files on a regular basis, keep the two programs in the gateway memory to be able to see hidden files of opportunity on your targets

- you CAN upload hidden files, virii for example. You just need to run the "Unhide Files" software when clicking the "Upload" on the hidden file. The file WILL be visible on the target, so remember to hide it again in there is you want stealth.

Well you could do something like a group server with the ingame tools you have now:

- the leader can buy a server from the hardware dealer
- the server description can be edited to say it's a group server (available from the Secure FTP interface)
- the HDD and band of the group server can be upgraded by the leader that owns the server
- it can be used as a backup server for your group
- the leader that owns the server can use Secure FTP to store the most important files and instantly restore them if deleted
- when the leader needs to manage the group server, he can just change gateway to it, change pass / IP / format etc.

- the good thing is the server can't go on the wrong hands since it's owned by the leader / or another trusted member

Only problem is the firewall / password protect has to be stopped / lowered so the members get admin access to the server, but that could also be a good thing... and it's only a one time thing to get admin, then they can login at will until the next pass change...

- If you have the mission it will automatically complete and give the reward on delete file task completion.

well once installed it's a virus so good luck disinfecting but yeah it needs a little setup, but nothing a good bandwidth connection can't manage...

Then you just goto Software and click Activate Malware from time to time, like zapping someone 

Alright, this is some cool stuff 

- You can activate a remote anti-virus process to disinfect a virus using your own gateway resources to do it
To do this, you have to have an AV of the correct type on your Gateway. Click "Run AV" on the gateway AV.
You should have an option to use the AV on the remotehost.

- there needs to be an "Active Admin connection" with the remotehost to be able to scan for virii
- from there on it works like a normal AV process. When it's done, access the remotehost to complete the process.
- the time required is +50% more then a normal AV process time for a remote AV disinfection

This works like uploads, so only the initiating gateway can complete the remote disninfect process.
Others will be able to stop the remote disinfect only on the initiator gateway.

You may ask what's this good for?
Well, you can free targets of virii and install your own for one.
Or you could help your friends gateway by disinfecting that nasty virus they have

You can _not_ do it remotely tough, you have to upload the bomb on their system and install it first... and it has to actually run to make damage, like with the money virs that collect HPD in time, the malware collects attack power
