Title: Revelation Station
Post by: SoTL on November 29, 2008, 08:41:29 PM
Seeing all these threads archiving statistics from the closing round makes us wonder. Where is the thread for Revelation hits?

Let this be the archive. Show us some grand carnage!

There was Ginjitsu:

Damage report: lost 4,135,221 Mhz CPU, lost 286,433,475 kb memory, lost 14,334.01 kbs bandwidth, lost 4,129.69 Gb HDD.

Then Moen Co.:
 Malware BOMB function in progress...
Starting Revelation remote overload on xxxxxxxx...
All hardware on the remote system was damaged in the overload.
The remote system lost 121,090 Mhz CPU!
The remote system lost 6,106,050 kb memory!
The remote system lost 5,160.29 kbs bandwidth!
The remote system lost 685.58 Gb HDD!

RaiseCain:

All hardware on the remote system was damaged in the overload.
The remote system lost 52,664 Mhz CPU!

The remote system lost 263.32 kbs bandwidth!

 Malware BOMB function in progress...
Starting Revelation remote overload on 131.xxx.xxx.xxx...
All hardware on the remote system was damaged in the overload.
The remote system lost 6,400,541 Mhz CPU!
The remote system lost 379,043,792 kb memory!
The remote system lost 9,696.75 kbs bandwidth!
The remote system lost 2,320.33 Gb HDD!

On Conome's main server.

We figured we would try it out on someone with a lot of stats to see what it looked like  :5:

Edit: For comparison, the hit on Ginjitsu was 170+ hours on the 2.452, this was under 75 hours on a 2.452.

Less than half the time and it still hit for more.

Well Riolic, you could always check out my previous topics for Tsar Bomba hits.

Wrong again! But we'll dig that topic up and append it here.

In other news, looks like some people don't like Moen Co. too much. This one bumped him down to #4.

Malware BOMB function in progress...
Starting Revelation remote overload on 131.124.xxx.xxx...

Come on younglings, round's almost over! More ultra-violence!

ARG!

Why couldn't it have hit him for just slightly more!  That would've bumped me up to 4th!

I tried the remote overload option on someones server, but I accidentally copied my own IP into the malware instead of the target IP. Causing it to hit my own server.

That is, word for word, the funniest thing I've heard in the history of Hacker Project.

Even funnier than that one time I asked Ebolla to stop disinfecting my imaginary file shares from his server.

Well, it was aggravating for the both of us at the time, but in retrospect amusing.

You'd think that when handling explosives you'd be extra careful, apparently not.
