you dont delete your logs, you have no idea what a ip change is, and you target people while their online

Always cover your tracks by deleting any log entries you create. Always bounce through a server or two before you reach your target. Always avoid disinfecting virii as it gives someone a reason to come after you and a footprint to trace you with. Make sure you have enough cash for an IP change in case of an emergency. If possible, have an IP change and a password change charged up and ready to be completed before you start hacking.
There may be someone looking to pick on people lately and J.GreenThumb has taken a special interest in you as well.

If you plan on taking down your defenses for any reason do an IP change first then do not connect to anything until you restore your defenses.

Cover your tracks and put some thought into it
Start a bounce through a server you know is safe (Like inactive private gateways) Delete the logs bounce again to the next server
If youre hacking someone, bounce as much as you can, so you're harder to trace, if they change IP kill the processes you have on their gateway, as theyre probably tracing you if they havent cancelled them
Just like, try harder

all true. right now i have 50 inactive player ips that i downloaded software from and then wiped their harddrives clean of all files and programs.l Now i just use them to bounce through. Ive done plenty of disinfect missions and self made disinfect missions and have never been hacked. (yes i do check my logs everday) and i delete my logs on public servers. heck i even delte the logs on mine.

This is one of the habits of highly successful hackers in this game. Everyone should take note.
