I would like to suggest to add AP cost when Purchasing IP.

I really really hate to suggest this but the game needs balancing. Its been very irritating that others keeps on buying your IP and while you ran out of AP because Change IP costs 300AP. This is especially abused by high-income players.

Purchase IP is totally abused.  :bodyguard:

Well, I'm not too keen on it costing AP to purchase IP's, but perhaps a cap on the number you can buy within a certain length of time?

(that is what ap is for... to limit the amount of things you can do per hour...)

I'm just not too keen on purchasing IPs in the first place. You should have to hunt them down like any "real" hacker would have to.

Some other options:

Add an option where you can fail and get no IP at all (The software dealer tries to stay discreet, so his IP Database is very static)
Add an option where you can get an IP you already have
Add another available purchasable IP section for anything above v5.0 - and increase the HPD cost alot.

Oh, I kinda like the idea of it giving you an IP you already have. That way, it's THEORETICALLY possible to get every IP, just monstrously unlikely if you've already got, say, 90% of them.

V 0.1 nmap gets you that though.  It only takes 10 minutes and hardly any resources.  Nobody actually uses their scan blockers.

But first you need to know the IP.
Purchase IP gives you an IP and the highest software on that server.
