Title: IP Db interface update
Post by: siremi on June 23, 2010, 01:28:11 PM

We have some interface updates today:

- added "Disconnect", "D/C last bounce" to IP Database if there is a connection.
- added "Remote host web service" to IP Database. This will also show the server menu with bulletin board, admin etc. for easy access.

- added "Connect" and "Bounce" when finishing a crack task, in order to connect faster without copy / paste if needed.

- added software type info to the reported highest software when using the IP Scanner.

Cheers!

- added a visual representation of the bounce trail by adding a modification to the class and color of the names in the IP Database as you bounce trough them. The latest node is colored gold.

Has it been changed so now connecting from IPdb takes you to the regular server page instead of just showing in the DB?
Becase with this update it could negate the need to open each subsequent connect in tabs, instead jsut clicking connect and it keeping you on the IPdb like:

Because now there's no need to click off of IPdb to access the server like how it is now when you connect like this:

I find pictures explain better, plus usually if you're using IPdb to connect it's usually to check each faction server/missions, this way it'd only be two clicks, without having to bounce, because right now only bouncing keeps you on the DB page

What do you guys think?

Also Ex if you feel like editing this to make it not be in this ugly box thing, because i dont know the resize BB code...
