Title: Duplicate file
Post by: PauloHaddad on July 10, 2008, 04:17:58 PM
Is there any way to duplicate a file?

I was thinking that on early days, when I planned to install Adware Daemon on my gateway, but when I installed the file it became unaccessible, that made me ti give up that idea because I would have to download 100Mb again...

It's not so strange, though. Copy, move and delete are basic commands in any computer.

it prevents abuse, it's easily done when you're gold, just upload then download multiples.

1> Upload it to another server then download it from that server
2> Gold FTP server
3> Only person who used the dupe thing in the power ranks was me to show that equation was broken and I messaged Sir Emi directly about it so it would get fixed.

OK, I got the Gold Acc thing, but it's strange yet. Next step will be creating de Platinum Acc with Copy command?

I disagree with that, but I can live with it.

I disagree with it too, there should be a copy command for everyone that does not eat your bandwidth.

Shouldn't it?

It could at least consume MHz, but not bandwidth, that's pointless.

copied file takes 1.25x more space/resources but version isn't raised?

resources only, or at least no more bandwidth in the case of virii, you can already clog a server quickly with 0.1's

I meant there should have a duplicate file, not process.

It's just CTRL-C, CTRL-V. Not ENTER x2.
