The catch is that you have to divide by zero to do it, which is possible once you get to calculus but something that we are taught to avoid until then. Even then, they try to justify it by using limits. I found it easier and more accurate to do the impossible, which means I have to open myself up to the concepts of infinity and zero being the only quantities which exist.
It'll blow your mind if you think about it too much.
