Research page updates: - research job X times on research page -> X Times opens up new research tasks up to available resources or when X times has been reached
- a limit / filter on the number of process tasks on Running Software -> limit tasks to show max 50 per page -> filter for tasks, by process type / action, last / first tasks -> can select completed tasks, research tasks, etc
- confirmation window on mass kill tasks for localhost
- software to decrypt the signature of a virus and state the user that the vir belongs to. -> works like Virus Breaker, decrypts the vir signature of the owner. Does not affect installed virii in any way. -> 0.5 sec per Megabyte, with modifier depending on vir version vs. Identifier version. Works in a similar way like Virus Breaker but does not affect the virus in any way or form -> works on virus process, requires 10 x less resources then vir breaker -> returns report about virus: host IP, file #, name, type, owner -> used in data gathering / profiling for targeting specific virii -> a small chance of fiding out a random owned server of the owner (2%) (chance is available once every 3 days for each installed virus) -> available on public True Light servers and in missions -> Vir Identifier can be placed in "Assign program to tasklist" -> uses 10 AP when completed
Bug fixes:
- not showing IP e.g. admin [], ***** [Firewall Protect] successfully stopped.
- fixed a vote issue and baned someone who exploited it: IChrisI (#8828)
- other small fixes to the interface that were reported in bugs forum

Im currently on the IRC and do you know what I hear about? A lot of bugs starting showing up just recently.
Heres a quick list of bugs showing up right after the update: Research lost Showing wrong number of tasks. When looking at firewalls 2 appear while only 1 running. Wrong calculations in resources. I checked this one myself. 250*8=2500. Were are the other 500? Not showing on task list. I have also another server with no running process' but still something is taking up 50 MHz. Delete logs without deleter showing in running process'. IP visible in logs despite bouncing.
Thats all reported in the IRC chat and all started after the update. Nice job.

Due to the the limit on the tasks on the page, the CPU / Mem / Band display info may not be accurate if you have have 50+ processes.
This will be fixed shortly.

Please not that the Filter in Running Software will remember the last filter settings. If you want to see all tasks, please filter by "ALL by #ID from last"
There is a localhost and a remotehost filter. Both filters remember their last state. If you wish to see all processes ordered from last to first, you should set them both to "ALL by #ID from last".

So... virii identifier version.
Does that function the same as breaker version? You can do the same thing only faster if the version is higher (up to the version of the virii)?
Or does it function like nmap scanner version... increasing time it takes.

the VI acts on the installed virii. You can not block it, but it only has once chance to give the 2% on a server you own. If it fails, it won't give any more tries, so he has to find another vir to try again.

This is bad. This means that certain groups will be able to find me now that I have acquired their virii when they failed to install them fast enough.
This also sounds like it will make Log Deleter obsolete.

Completing identify virus process... Cracking virus signature... done
Generating virus identity report: Host IP: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Vir file: #xxx somevirii x.xxx Vir type: Adware Spam Daemon Vir owner: someone Checking for remnants of owner IP... nothing found.
OK SO>
Host IP... what is that? On the one I scanned it came up as one of the true light public servers. Is that the IP you installed from? The last bounce of where you uploaded from?
I assume the "remnants of owner IP" is the chance to get their IP...

ok couple of things 1> Checking my research it appears it is all there. In fact recounting it I found I accidently did a few extras a couple of times which will be nice since I lost some research earlier. 2> could we get the next/previous etc links at the bottom of the list as well? 3> Could we get a filter that will filter processes by time to completion? So it will show the completed tasks first then those with 1 second left etc etc. 4> Except for the VI, which I am testing right now, this is a very nice and welcome update. 5> Slight issue with the research clustering. I started 50 tasks as once and about 10 of them started 8 seconds before the rest. Anyway to have it clumped as just 1 process with a counter that will count down the number of tasks that you complete? For example Kill 706156 Basic Firewall Protect research file #185718 | Basic Firewall Protect V 0.1 X 50 [Owned][localhost], 1h 0m 0s 0.1 2500 150000 0

- added the connection form when viewing the Running Software. It should save one click on connect and then paste the IP and click bounce from there. I usually filter by "Completed tasks", then copy the IP from there and paste it in the connect form and then click Bounce. - the filter for remote Running Software should reset to "ALL by #ID from last" when connecting / bouncing to a new server now - added the File Transfers filter Host IP... what is that? On the one I scanned it came up as one of the true light public servers. Is that the IP you installed from? The last bounce of where you uploaded from?

Host IP is the IP the virus is installed on... kinda useless since you already see it. The remnants of owner IP is the 2% chance you get on finding out a random owned server of the person owning the virus.
