Title: virri capture Post by: bontrose on December 02, 2009, 03:49:10 PM why does a v2.5 and a v.1 take the same amount of time to capture a virri?
Title: Re: virri capture Post by: AgentE382 on December 02, 2009, 03:58:05 PM What kind of virii?
The way virii capturing works is that if the virus breaker is of a higher version than the virus you're trying to capture, then you capture with a speed of 75sec/MB. If not, then the time increases exponentially. AgentE382 Title: Re: virri capture Post by: bontrose on January 30, 2010, 09:03:47 PM so if the virri is a v.1 then av.2 breaker has the same time as a 7.5?
Title: Re: virri capture Post by: ãłþħά-∆9 on January 31, 2010, 06:30:54 AM Yes, because they are both higher than the virus version, its so you don't go around capping viruses in minutes witha v300 breaker ot something, its only if the version is smaller than the virus the time changes
Title: Re: virri capture Post by: bontrose on January 31, 2010, 01:25:35 PM well a stronger breaker SHOULD change the time

It's actually a nice compromise that I think the rest of the game should use. For example with Password break. Instead of having to have a greater than version you could use a smaller version, it would just take that much longer.
