Title: Virus Identifier update Post by: siremi on May 10, 2009, 06:59:09 PM I checked out this report here:
http://www.hacker-project.com/forum/index.php?topic=1526.0 Made some changes to the Virus Identifier to put it inline with the Process Tracer. Changes made: - you can now complete up to 15 identify tasks on a vir process - chance to find owner has been introduced, making it harder to extract the owner (Spy & Rev will not give owner) - chance to find IP has been left the same, making it easier to find the IP due to having more tries (15) Title: Re: Virus Identifier update Post by: DamascuS on May 10, 2009, 07:19:02 PM Thats better :5:
But if you are limiting the number of VI's you can run against a virus, then wouldn't it make sense to increase the chances a little? I mean they are very small after all, and 15 isn't that many tbh :19: Title: Re: Virus Identifier update Post by: virus man on May 11, 2009, 01:47:01 AM Except then you would need to increase the AP usage. PT's AP usage is massive because of how it is setup.
