Even then, they try to justify it by using limits. I found it easier and more accurate to do the impossible, which means I have to open myself up to the concepts of infinity and zero being the only quantities which exist.

News From January 2009 : Self-confessed hacker Gary McKinnon will stay in the UK for the next month while the director of public prosecutions (DPP) considers whether to try him in the UK or wether to honour the US's Extradition request. Gary McKinnon is accused of hacking into 97 US federal and military computer systems, and of trying to get into 73,000 others where he caused damage worth at least £350 thousand pounds McKinnon was arrested in 2002 but the US asked for his extradition only in 2005. McKinnon, who admits hacking US military computers, has lost his appeal against extradition in every court available to him. This is what happened in the year 361: Roman Empire Julian becomes Roman Emperor, and tries to restore Paganism in the empire. Ministers and followers of Constantius II are put to trial at the Chalcedon tribunal. Asia Emperor Ai succeeds Emperor Mu as emperor of China. Religion Gregory Nazianzus, (Saint Gregory the Theologian), becomes a priest in Nazianzus. Here I'll help you by doing both of them for you :) The i487 is a floating point unit coprocessor for Intel i486SX machines. It was essentially a full-blown i486DX chip. When installed into an i486SX system, the i487 disabled the main CPU and took over all CPU operations. In theory the computer would be able to operate if the original i486SX CPU was removed, although in practice a pin on the i487 prevented this. Title: Re: Count to a thousand Post by: docslax on November 02, 2009, 04:54:55 PM U.S. Route 491 (US 491) is a north–south U.S. Highway serving the Four Corners region of the United States. One of the newest designations in the U.S. Highway system, it was created in 2003 as a renumbering of U.S. Route 666. With the 666 designation, this road was nicknamed Devil's Highway because of the common Christian belief that 666 is the Number of the Beast. This satanic connotation, combined with a high fatality rate along the New Mexico portion, convinced some people the highway was cursed.

Title: Re: Count to a thousand Post by: Triadian on November 06, 2009, 08:46:50 AM 497 :- what happens when you cross 2 jet engines with a train ?
(http://www.ottovondrak.com/m497/images/M497_OfficialPortrait.jpg) The M-497 (nicknamed Black Beetle) was an experimental jet-powered locomotive test bed of the New York Central Railroad corporation, developed and tested in 1966 in the United States of America. Two second-hand General Electric J47-19 jet engines (designed as boosters for the Convair B-36 intercontinental bomber) were mounted atop an existing Budd Rail Diesel Car (an RDC-3, part coach, part baggage and mail configuration) body which had received a streamlined front cowling. The construct was then successfully sent on test runs over the existing tracks between Butler, Indiana and Stryker, Ohio (the line was chosen for its arrow-straight layout and good condition-, but otherwise unmodified track). The car reached speeds of 183 mph (296 km/h, still the light-rail speed record for the United States). Title: Re: Count to a thousand Post by: Seb on November 11, 2009, 07:59:06 PM 498

And post is the input, like a button Anyone who enjoys coding and building crap should definately look into getting gmod 522 Title: Re: Count to a thousand Post by: gs 059 on November 30, 2009, 05:00:41 AM I am sure you meant
if(Post) {Number = LastNumber + 1} else {Number = LastNumber} else{Number=0} since your previous said that if all else fails set LastNumber = 0, but than Number is still = nothing.... 523 Title: Re: Count to a thousand Post by: Triadian on November 30, 2009, 08:49:57 AM you guys need to edit instead of reply
525 Title: Re: Count to a thousand Post by: ãłþħά-∆9 on November 30, 2009, 01:03:53 PM I am sure you meant if(Post) {Number = LastNumber + 1} else {Number = LastNumber} else{Number=0} since your previous said that if all else fails set LastNumber = 0, but than Number is still = nothing.... 523 I did it so if Post isn't true (if the button isn't pressed or =0) the number stays the same as the last number, which is right, it doesnt make sense for it to be +1 else lastnumber else 0 because theres nothing for the second else to decide :21: In fact looking down it appears i completely screwed up my post to begin with actually D: the "else{LastNumber=0}" isnt meant to be there at all wtf But i see what you're saying, because if Post isnt true it'd be like wtf and fail, so: runOnTick(1) if(Post) {Number = LastNumber + 1} elseif(!Post) {Number = LastNumber} Which is actually the same and would also work, because its like, if post is true then add one, else dont and stay the same, whereas this method is like, if post is true add one, otherwise if it isnt true, stay the same @Tri But we're still playing and that'd just be confusing... also you missed 524 and 525  lol just looked down and noticed i double posted instead of editing, they should move that button further away! :14: It was early morning for me, to be fair. I don't know what number to go for now its combo broken, i'll go for 525, as that's what it would be if triadian fixes his :5: Title: Re: Count to a thousand Post by: Triadian on November 30, 2009, 01:53:58 PM @Tri But we're still playing and that'd just be confusing... also you missed 524 and 525  lol just looked down and noticed i double posted instead of editing, they should move that button further away! :14: It was early morning for me, to be fair. The current count is, therefore, the reply number plus one, or two plus the previous post's reply number. To check if a certain post is correct, we take the reply number stated in the title section and add one.
535 This isn't rocket science. Title: Re: Count to a thousand Post by: Triadian on December 02, 2009, 02:00:56 AM MULTIPLE comet impacts around 1500 years ago triggered a “dry fog” that plunged half the world into famine. Historical records tell us that from the beginning of March 536 AD, a fog of dust blanketed the atmosphere for 18 months. During this time, “the sun gave no more light than the moon”, global temperatures plummeted and crops failed, says Dallas Abbott of Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory in New York. The cause has long been unknown, but theories have included a vast volcanic eruption or an impact from space. Now Abbott and her team have found the first direct evidence that multiple impacts caused the haze. They found tiny balls of condensed rock vapour or “spherules” in debris inside Greenland ice cores dating back to early 536 AD. Though the spherules’ chemistry suggests they did not belong to an impactor, they do point to terrestrial debris ejected into the atmosphere by an impact event, Abbott says. “This is the first concrete geological evidence for an impact at 536 AD,” she says. The fallout material was also laid down over several years, and some layers were particularly densely deposited. This suggests more than one impactor was involved – probably a comet, because they tend to fragment on their way to Earth. Abbott and her team have identified two possible underwater craters whose age ranges fit the global dimming event. The first appears to have formed when an object roughly 640 metres wide slammed into the Gulf of Carpentaria in Australia, and the other when a smaller object crashed into the North Sea near Norway. Marine microfossils found with the impact spherules are also consistent with an ocean impact. “There’s clearly stuff that has been transported a long distance,” says Abbott, who presented the team’s findings at the meeting of the American Geophysical Union in December 2008
