Title: Bouncing?
Post by: Melville on June 25, 2008, 09:57:18 PM
If you use a bounce connection, with 5 servers, every server will have the IP of the server before it, and you would have to log in ot the first one and delete your IP right? Or is the IP it shows the same for every one?

Whenever you bounce you leave two log entries:

- One log entry on the server you bounced off
- One log entry on the server you bounced onto
- both entries and all the entries of the bounce will retain their Data / Time unchanged, so other may track the bounce logs by Date / Time
- The first bounce node (your gateway) will have a special log entry like "Origin proxy connection to [IP] established"

- the bounce nodes have something like "Proxy connection from [X] to [Y]". One has to track each X until the Origin log is reached.

If you log in to delete the logs then total log entries created is 3 but only one can not be deleted unless you do team bouncing.
