Anyone thinking about doing this?  Huge potential.

What is that?

It allows you to change and add to the layout and functionality of web pages on existing sites.

There's an overlay script for Astro Empires and it does various things including adding extra convenience buttons with related script that can autocalc things for you it can also log certain types of data specific to the game which it uses in various ways to enhance your experience.

Basically it can make things that you had to manually keep track or calcualte/tabulate very easier.  In some sense it is a hacker tool itself.  It doesn't give you the ability to cheat necessarily but definitely gives an advantage in that the existing web interface itself can be changed (all on the client side) and modified to increase your game play effectiveness.

It's an add-on for Firefox you should be able to search for it there.

I think it takes a bit of work to create an actual overlay I've not done it myself.  But if you're playing this game you shouldn't be too intimidated by some scripting lol.

I improved my webpage and a phpbb based project by making the project admin insert some lines to cauch thowse who use proxies at our pages. It does not worth how many you are hidden with.

A window hider... I use ghostzilla and I have a great relationship with my technology teacher, so he does not punish me when I do so (he knows I have finished the tasks he assigned before... :))

I try not to being tracered, but they have a passive sniffer computer and a proxy...

PS: I distroyed their logs at the two systems more than once, and I bypass them whenever I want. But that was not made, by me, they do not have proves and I do not have photos/videos around that!!! So, do not ask me!

It is needed when you keep a look at other guy email and you send fake mails from his account... to me.

It was a bet to make him see how low was his password security.

This script does something that I've been wanting since I made my server list...  It tells you which of the IPs you already know, and what they are (optional description).  Sadly, it's still a bit of a bother to put your known server list into it ;P, but it works quite nicely once it's set up :).  Tell me what you think.

http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/31569 (http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/31569) .

I left some public IPs in as a demo -- iirc only the ones that everybody knows at the start.

The Jake, Krieger, and Ebolla project will be including a greasemonkey script that will interface with the Fan Based Site for HP.  When it is done it will include calcs for most everything in the game(really dumbing the game down but a very useful tool at least) as well as creating IP DB's.  If you are the leader of a group you can actually set it to share the group's IP DBs.  That way you can see what you have and what you don't have etc.

Some other features that I am debating on bringing up to the group.  But I need to ask Sir Emi first to see if it would be ok.

But the stuff currently being worked on is all good.

The Greasemonkey script will create CSV files for use in Excel/Calc as well as update the fan site IF you are logged in.  The IP DB's on the Fan site will be private and assigned to the individual with the option to share with a group and/or friends.

Ah, see?  SGP still beats me even in scope!    :2:.  I bet that you'll get the speed issue with mine fixed in yours too ;P.

Remember that the only in SGP is Ebolla, Jake is from AiR and Krieger is alone in the world :P We're working hard in the project, i hope we can bring it to everyone soon.

I thought I'd let those of us who are computer illiterate have a shot at this too, and for my own personal enjoyment as well, I'm currently working on a cheap free website with software calculations for each software. It is entirely chicken scratch HTML, but it works. it's going to be a very extensive database as I dont know cheap calculator codes or anything like that. It'll have an - EXTENSIVE - secret server database (with access needed) as well. Just a note.

Really? Most games I play it's perfectly acceptable to change the game interface. I mean... I can use IE or Firefox there I changed the interface!

slavehack.com,upplink and others don not allow u to change the game interface,because it could give u an unfair advantage.

A good GM change, they can't see that you're modifying the interface... Depending on how much URL security is turned on. Unless typing URLs is completely disabled or disallowed by the ToS, nothing to say you aren't just typing in URLs. And as most games don't disallow that...

Get to the subject now. Ive allready said that Sir Emi allows this;

TOS= Terms of Service.

Well, since I develop GM scripts for online games like this, I'll give some pointers.

You would need these add-ons for firefox:
xpath Checker (http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1095) (helps get tables using XML)
Firebug (http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843) (great debugging tool)
Greasemonkey (http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748) (what you need :P )

You will also need to catch up on the GM_Javascript commands here (http://wiki.greasespot.net/Main_Page).

I will help make a greasemonkey script, but I can't do it by myself. I'm already helping a friend get his webgame (http://soc-game.playevo.com/forums?thread=515) running, recoding the GM script for another webgame (http://playevo.com/_/794574-Mostly-Working-Evo) I play (which is the brother to my friends webgame), and working from home.
