When you hack a players server you can delete YOUR (only your's) IP from there database. Reason: Most players have a farm, and if someone hacks it you can't change your IP without losing all your viruses. How: An option at the bottom of the the server description (when you first connect) that would say "Clear your Cookies". In order to do this you would need admin acess. Pro's: Keeps you safe. Adds more light PvP. Helps stop sharing of players IP. More realistic. Anti-abuse: You can only delete YOUR IP, that way you don't mess up some entire game playing. Any suggestion, questions, comments, rude remarks? Title: Re: Delete YOUR IP from targets Database Post by: Seb on November 15, 2008, 07:07:48 PM You forgot, most people have multiple servers, so you'd have to get on all of them, and taht would be hard to code and would put strain on the server to keep track of which servers lost who on their cookies.

The servers arent connected so it must be an external list which makes it impossible to delete an IP if you dont commit RL burglary and thats not what the games about. |
