Title: ideas Post by: bontrose on December 26, 2009, 11:11:32 PM not all software on a computer is password and firewall what about those programs used to predict the :8: Stock market: there would (no duh) have to be those 3 companies: Omnicron Icarus Hakuza But you would need to BUY this software or steal it from somebody to get it. There would be no guarantee that you would get your money back. The cost of the stocks would depend on how the faction was doing as well as how many stocks were sold. games. games would increase your ap whenever you used them you would have to actually play these and would not be able to start any new processes during the time. you could have simple games like: PONG PAC-MAN ect. pictures: you would be able to see a person's profile as well as the enlarged picture backup: if you one would need backup disks the largest disks only holding 2-4-8- 16-32gig(flash) the smallest holding 25mb(floppy) and the medium holding 700mb(compact)these would cost : floppy-10hpd compact-250.00 HPD flash(2)-2,000.00 HPD flash(4)-4,000.00 HPD flash(8)-8,000.00 HPD flash(16)-16,000.00 HPD flash(32)-32,000.00 HPD bad downloads: some downloads you make have virri in them, most harmless you would not be able to tell if your download had something extra in it like a malware or that Trojan horse that has never been inserted into the game you would have to look at the speed of the download and the size to see if it matches up exactly. the downloads fom a public server or secret server would be scanned for this kind of stuff whereas a privet server would be most likely to have them Title: Re: ideas Post by: ãłþħά-∆9 on January 12, 2010, 04:02:29 PM Sounds less like HP and more like a forum
Whoring pacman to get AP? I think there already a big enough issue with AP Malware being present in downloads? I quote like it, maybe a new piece of software "Binder" that can mount malware/viruses onto a normal looking program, then when they try and run it BAM, virus instantly installed $$$ The way to keep it balanced is to look at the file size, you see a firewall thats 10MB yet v100, it must be a virus! Realism ftw Title: Re: ideas Post by: ivandrago on January 12, 2010, 04:14:40 PM Malware being present in downloads?
