Title: NMAP scanner
Post by: ivandrago on March 28, 2010, 02:26:25 AM
Wouldn't it make more sence if the running time of nmap scanner is limited (to 1 hour for example) ?
Like password break is also limited to 1 hour and process tracer is limited to 30 mins ?

Yup, because you get it up a few versions and it takes like 2 hours to finish = IP NOT FOUND!

Speaking of Process Tracer...

It's worthless to upgrade beyond the .1 version...

Level 100 just to get 15%?  Plus the size... OMG....

sounds like a good suggestion. I will take the NMAP Scanner and PT into verification / testing in order to optimize the timers and PT ip find chances as it goes up in version.

Thank you.

Ya, rly, i'd almost always find the same group of IPs

Yeah, I would find the same IP several times in a row...

I found the same people all time time...  Really annoying when you already have their IP.

It was really annoying having to shell out all that HPD to change the group server IP every five minutes as well. Seemed like as soon as we changed it, someone had found it already. We were beginning to suspect it was an inside job.

The filter makes some interesting choices. Are you suggesting that I start supplementing the filter with my own judgments?  :21:
