Title: Software Hall of Fame 20080918 Post by: virus man on September 18, 2008, 06:43:59 PM Before I you look at it let me point out a few things.
1> If the Version has more than 3 decimal places, IE x.XXXX, then it is most likely from a NPC server and/or researched from a file from a NPC server 2> Thanks to SGP giving out more and more tips you will see less of SGP on here however we are focusing more on other projects than just research. I want to give a KUDOs to all Groups that are pulling together even with how badly this game has been nerfed in the past 5-7 weeks. 3> I take my time to do this. The intention just like with the Free Repo's that SGP hosts are to make them more community driven. That means more input from all of you as to who the unknowns are and so forth. 4> I have taken out individual names and instead use the group names. Since any individuals that achieved a spot on this list are due in part to a groups assistance it is only fair to give props to the groups instead. 5> I was greatly surprised to see how far in the last 2 months many groups have come. It does go to show that the AP system does not really slow down growth all that much. Title: Re: Software Hall of Fame 20080918 Post by: Andreas on September 19, 2008, 07:08:04 AM Im not even close to any of those versions so I guess Im not one of the unknowns.
Anyway that file share looks interesting. If I only had enough HPD and BW I would have had a big money maker. Title: Re: Software Hall of Fame 20080918 Post by: setech on September 20, 2008, 06:25:03 AM The log deleter (45.1) is mine, althow I don't have a group.
Title: Re: Software Hall of Fame 20080918 Post by: Magna Carta on September 20, 2008, 09:11:04 PM Well, since someone from SGP found me out, I'll admit to that log undeleter. :17:
The encryptor is available on one of the secret servers. Try to find which one! :16: Title: Re: Software Hall of Fame 20080918 Post by: setech on September 21, 2008, 04:32:36 PM completed my log undeleter (the 46.xxx thingy).. somenoe seems to have surpassed my log deleter by an ounce (stolen software?).. not that it would matter..
Title: Re: Software Hall of Fame 20080918 Post by: zand lizzar on September 25, 2008, 01:46:07 PM Add my name to this list :) I just completed a 144.+ password. More Research still running.
I started it from a .1 in case anyone is interested in how :) Title: Re: Software Hall of Fame 20080918 Post by: HJ® on September 25, 2008, 02:14:06 PM good job Zand.
Id also like to note that Ive got the #1 Anti-Spyware in game, v 16.844. Conome, wanna play? Title: Re: Software Hall of Fame 20080918 Post by: RavenXP on September 25, 2008, 09:45:20 PM Awwww what is this about? Research wars! :12:
Congrats everyone. Title: Re: Software Hall of Fame 20080918 Post by: Moen Co. on September 25, 2008, 09:52:48 PM good job Zand. Id also like to note that Ive got the #1 Anti-Spyware in game, v 16.844. Conome, wanna play? Hah, maybe if I could actually find a server that can run it. That whole thing was a mistake. I'll most likely never be using it unless someone provokes me. Edit: And just in case you're wondering, it's installed in one place, and I'm not even the owner, though I'll be glad to tell you who owns it in a couple hours. It's too unwieldly. Title: Re: Software Hall of Fame 20080918 Post by: virus man on September 26, 2008, 12:27:43 AM cough cough 150+ Firewall Protect.

Heh I ran a VI on it, I can't remember who it popped up as the owner though... Title: Re: Software Hall of Fame 20080918 Post by: Araeus on September 26, 2008, 06:59:00 PM Crap, I forgot about that.
And I was looking forward to catching this guy too... Owell, at least I can still hope to get his IP. Title: Re: Software Hall of Fame 20080918 Post by: Moen Co. on September 26, 2008, 07:05:05 PM Nope, that one isn't mine, it's actually installed on top of my virii. Don't ask me why it's there, I don't know myself. Put it there weeks ago for who knows what reason. A certain group has actually already stolen and renamed it as well.
Title: Re: Software Hall of Fame 20080918 Post by: Araeus on September 26, 2008, 07:27:08 PM Yeah, I have a copy of yours sitting on my HDD... apparently lots of people got it because it's popping up on a couple of servers (and EoD server I was looking at had it, and now mine)
Title: Re: Software Hall of Fame 20080918 Post by: Moen Co. on September 26, 2008, 07:49:26 PM Yeah I'm fairly certain it was EoD, I'm 100% sure Damascus and Raistlin have it. It should actually still be on a secret server somewhere, I realized the server didn't have the hardware to run it after I finished uploading it. Go me. -_-
Title: Re: Software Hall of Fame 20080918 Post by: Araeus on September 26, 2008, 07:50:56 PM Yeah, someone got my old v5 adware way back when that happened to me last time...
