What the f**k do you mean with that?

vm, if he fixes the ranking system, than you would still be down a bunch, what do you want? to make it so that files are no longer counted at all as part of your rank?

Title: Re: Zombie-Fest.
Post by: Andreas on November 09, 2008, 12:34:14 PM
I dont think files is the problem. I think only the highest file count so VM could easily buy the highest available software.

highest version of each software type, and he should already have the highest versions.... or at least most of them..

The problem is though that moving the files from my #1 server has caused my power drop.  I still have all the files.  That is the only reason I am down so much.

Hatejacket turned one of his HJSoft™ HPD Servers into:

218.68.82.148

Dooms Day Is Approaching

Those who wish to oppose us will suffer a fate worse than death.

Using my 2nd server (IP you got from Ebolla yes) to bounce to a Truelight server. Not nice..  :bodyguard:

What might that fate be Hatejacket? Not that Im opposing you but I just love to hear you boast.

Well for one if you think I am alone in this you are dead wrong.

How would you feel about up to 10 Rev Bombs hitting your main server at the same time?

And two, I love how you think you can talk tough just because you stole other people's hard work. Remember there was a time where you had no idea what to do, your servers were being hacked, and who did you turn to for help? ME.

Go ahead and let the power get to your head. It will be oh so much more fun when it gets taken from you.

Do not think I am alone in this also Hatejacket.

I doubt that will ever happen.

I dont think I can talk tough. I just am fed up with you thinking you are so much better than the rest of us and you are allowed to make us fear you. That time is over. I am now capable to defend myself and therefor am not keeping my mouth shut anymore.

And indeed you helped me back then. I am still very grateful for that. But its not because you helped me in the past, that you still deserve the same respect as I gave you back then. You have changed and have lost my respect.

And excuse me? I stole other people's hard work?

First of all, this game is called Hacker Project. Cracking people's servers and stealing software is perfectly normal in this game.

Second, I researched the 2 cracking softwares v200. Research was running for Firewall Bypass V500 and Password Break V1100 even lol. Other researches were planned also. Thanks to the research update that was cancelled and I changed tactics.

What files have you researched? Where did you get all your files? From Tiak and Ebolla no?

You didnt even have to hack people to get your software, it was given to you by friends!

The worst thing Ive done yet, is steal software. All the things you've done and are planning to.. Dont get me started!

Quote
Go ahead and let the power get to your head. It will be oh so much more fun when it gets taken from you.

You're really not the guy to say that. Tiak yes but not you mate.

Honestly, why do you keep poking at conversations that arent your own, boy?

You haven't even been here long enough to know about half of what's gone on in this game. You know nothing. You are nothing.

NOTE TO SIREMI: Thanks for letting k3mp do whatever he likes on the forums. Simply proves my point more that I was banned twice in the past because you had an obvious bias against SGP. Thanks for proving to me what kind of person you really are.

But that's okay Kemp, i've got something for you:

I am considering researching it to 2.5 for the ultimate rev bomb, note this will cost me a few days in voting to save up AP (Not a flipping chance I'm going to put money into this game anymore). It'll be tasty when I blow up your hardware. You will learn.

its a public forum dont like it go back to your own little forums, and the fact you insult me on every topic is a good representation of why you got banned twice, and deserve to be banned again.

Once again I need to clarify for you. You haven't BEEN HERE long enough to know what you're talking about. You weren't even here the last time I got banned! I was unbanned before you even registered. You have no right to sit here and post on every single topic I post in, kid. Don't point the finger at me.

Also, you've done worse than I did when I got banned BOTH times.

I rather enjoyed it when you were invisible, so let's make that happen again. I'll shove you under the rug, wrap it up, and blow it up. Don't you worry.

Better go find k3mp's IP, rofl.

Title: Re: Zombie-Fest.
Post by: Seb on November 11, 2008, 05:17:28 PM
Yeh, to bad, I have no idea why this guy wants a reset, what will that bring?
I'll tell you:
Mass quitting
The people who could quit could  create a big 'hole' in the community.
Hacker project would become sluggish,
if bad went to worst, it could fail entirely, and either never really grow again or die.

If not the quitting, it could cause complaints, and in a worst case scenario, a lot of them.

As for HZT, I'm pretty sure he's bluffing or has a bunch of half-hearted candidates, of whom may back out quickly.

Title: Re: Zombie-Fest.
Post by: Seraph on November 11, 2008, 05:29:35 PM
How'd that current attempt at revelation work out for you HZT?

Or should I say HJ.

I don't know who your little buddy is who tried to research as well, but he's got to realize that running v1 firewall and password protects is not going to keep his server safe while he's trying to research the revelation virus.

I sincerely hope that people don't start dropping out when the round ends, that is when everything is going to get interesting.  The next round is going to be much more even, and that could make for a pretty hectic start but it should get better pretty quick.

Revelation will happen.  But you are not going to be the one calling the shots when the round ends.

Title: Re: Zombie-Fest.
Post by: Xirad on November 11, 2008, 08:33:12 PM
My main problem with the round restarting, as has been stated in one form or another by many others, is that I've put quite a bit of time into this particular round. Obviously not as much as others, but enough that I don't want to see it all wash away. Also, I have a feeling that with later rounds, it will only be a rat race to who can run 10 Rev's first and cause the reset, therefore cashing in on the prize money (assuming of course that the people that run the Rev's are in the top 10).

When the reset happens... I probably will keep playing, mainly because I am easily distracted from work I should be doing, . But I think that the power that has been amassed in this round, will never be matched again, as well as the software versions, due to the restarts probably happening quicker and also because of the research nerf. So.. I probably won't get as much enjoyment from the later rounds as I did from this one, but oh well. That's just my opinion.

Very dangerous territory to tread, mate. The issue has been brought up repeatedly from what I understand. Whether or not it has been brought up "politely" is up to debate, but it is a very hot issue, especially right now.

But you are correct, he shouldn't and shouldn't be expected to listen to people "cussing him out" or otherwise being demeaning. You mentioned "wars servers" on another thread. Perhaps that should be in the suggestion box.  :) I'd like to explore that a bit more.

Title: Re: Zombie-Fest.
Post by: Xirad on November 12, 2008, 12:37:46 AM
Well... even if some people have been... less... then polite, the point should still have gotten across. I say this only because if quite a few people came up to me and told me they didn't like the way I dressed, even if they swore at me, I would probably start to think that I should look for some better clothes, lol. And not everyone was rude, I would say maybe... 4 of the people were rude.

As for some of the topics that I know of:

http://www.hacker-project.com/forum/index.php?topic=732.0 (http://www.hacker-project.com/forum/index.php?topic=732.0)

Maybe not a staggering amount of people against it in that one, but there are traces of it throughout the forum. Ironic it was sent to the trash.. but oh well. :14:

Not to mention this thread :

http://www.hacker-project.com/forum/index.php?topic=726.0 (http://www.hacker-project.com/forum/index.php?topic=726.0)

Which has quite a few comments made against the resets. And we also started off rather politely... but as time went on frustrations grew, etc. etc.

EDIT: On a side note ==> We're up to five Rev servers now, I guess 3 if you don't count Ebolla's or HZT's(maybe HJ's?). And almost all of them have ver 2.452 Rev,  :4:
172.202    The End Is Nearer Than You Think    2.452    No

   225.137    Ebolla's Dedicated Server    2.452    No

   162.254    resets r lame    2.452    No

2.84           Nuke Them From Orbit    2.452    No

   91.219    Removing...    0.1    No

107.184    Hail Rev..... no Hail FAITH :)    0.1    No

Title: Re: Zombie-Fest.

It is a frustrating issue, so tempers could be expected to run high, but still, if it's something people feel so passionately about, it should be revisited. I, for one, intend to revisit it at every available opportunity and be polite about it as this is my kind of game, even if everything isn't exactly the way I would want it and I have told Emi what I like about it as well as mentioned what I don't like. The actions of others are out of my control.  :5:

Ah, so GreenThumb was behind the second revelation research attempt.  There were suspicions.  Good to know he's being so honest with everyone, but I really should've guessed from the shoddy attempt and the horribly annoying server name.

Have fun with your backup plan.  Just let me know when you want all your research killed again.

no you're the pathetic one, your hiding and you say revelation is innevitable, yea it is. like i said before you arent the one whos going to start it... seriously you think ANYBODY here actually listens to your "announcements" friggen hell you dont even have 10 people who want revelation who can activate it, (and dont contradict me on that you liar, i remember your post on how you was calling all pro-rev people when 10 is all you need, with common sense applied that is...)why dont you end this quick and give out your ip before somebody ends up buying a crapload of wizard hacker ips just to find your pathetic excuse for a gateway. yep i might not be a god in this game myself,
But you sir, suck.

Are we playing hangman underneath your name HZT?  Because I would like to guess E.  And then maybe A.  You need some vowels in there somewhere...

But yes, good luck.  And know that when revelation happens, it will not be because you wanted it to.  It will be because we are willing to set up revelation just so we can nuke the hell out of you and a few other choice people.

It is time the public decides J.GreenThumb's stance.
See here for details (http://img359.imageshack.us/my.php?image=snapshot000117kz6.jpg)

Oh, and you're a bloody fool if you think HJ is the same as us. Take Psych 101 and apply it to...wow, you could probably apply it to English 097 and figure out we're different people. Yes, HJ used HZT as a mask. Yes, he was forced to stop. Yes, we already have a backup plan being worked out.

I was FORCED to stop? I don't ****ing think so. I renamed my server to keep your little name secret.

With only 2.452 revs out there he cannot possibly have several as 2.452 requires very close to 5k AP.

It does seem like he is lying... or at least not telling the whole truth. But then again, how can you judge such things over the internet. You can't, lol

As for HZT... seem's almost forged.... but the same thing said above goes for this as well.

Finally... all it would take is for one or two of the revs to be installed, lol. Also, from HZT's nice little server (if it is actually his and not someone else covering their tracks using HZT as a cover) is that he is a gold member. So he at least can obtain the 5000 AP needed. Of course we now must wonder how many of the other servers are his. And if he just named them all different things to give an appearance of strength and impending doom, when in fact he may be far from it. Possibly hoping to enlist people by making them think, "If we're so close, I want to help push it over the edge." But... yet again, this is all just speculation.

After seeing the above post:
What does Jake being on his knees have to do with anything?

V1 Rev OUT!

Eat it up, eat it all up, we may have been delayed but we will never be stopped!

Start the rev countdown down, to all likes.

V1 Rev OUT!

Eat it up, eat it all up, we may have been delayed but we will never be stopped!

Start the rev countdown down, to all likes.

Now just wait a minute before you get yourself too excited. You're going to have a heart attack if you keep up that level of excitement. Actually, would you have a heart attack? We find that quite unlikely seeing that you are well, a zombie. We find it hard to believe that you have a beating heart. Or a working brain for that matter.

Anyway that's besides the point. Revelation is still undergoing some...refinement.

Oh hell we're done with it. Go have fun you crazy kids. Crash some servers! Cause some havoc! Enjoy the moment while it lasts.  :12:

LOL is all I have to say.

You guys couldn't even achieve a Rev 1.0.  The closest you could get is at this IP 147.204.145.66 and it is a 1.07319.  If you are going to do something then at least do it right.

BTW you only needed like a 0.8 to prevent Faith from stopping Revelations.  So you also wasted time and money.   Congratz you.  Yeah you.  You go girl!

Please if you are going to say you have a specific version then at least be accurate about it.

Of course you and SoTL are still both to scared to come out of the closet.

I'm inclined to agree with that VM, why?
1> The name on the server = 'E' = e(#1) = emi
2> BOTH times i ran a crack on one of the servers in particular, the IP changed and the list was re-ordered, now that could be a coincidence, but i don't believe in them, it could also be my mind playing tricks on me after 48 hours with no sleep but still...its odd.

If they are indeed NPC servers then shouldn't we bomb them all with logic's to keep ourselves safe? ;)

We apologize for not being able to be online 24/7 like a particular player. We have more pressing issues than a game to take care of. Our results suit our needs, so there is no reason to 'fix' something that isn't broken. If Revelation's version offends you then you should fix it yourself. What do we look like, your keeper? We would have disposed of you alongside the garbage long ago, appropriate for a waste of data such as yourself.

Keep talking, nobody is listening anymore.

HZT, he did your job for you in the interest of letting everyone else get in on the fun.

Don't act like you had anything to do with it.  You tried and failed.

Ah, that makes perfect sense.

Then you wouldn't have to show up on the rev list for those hours of easily killable research.

It looks like someone made a miscalculation though, although it would be pretty tough to have remade the exact 1.0 rev...

Not really...  They had something like 60 v0.1 logic bombs on that server...  It would seem that they basically just installed all of them, bought the 2.4, and then fired them off one-by-one until it got down around v1

Now I'm confused. Zombie now claims that he isn't Misfit, but supported the post saying he was.

Truth:
I am HZT.
I did not research the v1 rev.
I want rev to be installed and restart the match. I have wanted this since the first day I played.
I will likely not be playing soon.
I have seen the degradation of this game as emi continues to ignore the public.

Lies:
Jack's message, yes I manufactured it.
Not botting, yes I made a bot for HP. It has been running the past two months.
It does the following automatically for me:

Collects all missions from all secret servers I know
Gets new secret servers from missions I have and adds them to DB
Completes any missions I did not do but are listed in missions as "file deleted"
Starts new deletion missions with following actions:
Connects to random IP if bounce count is 0
Modifies logs to show login from random secret server in DB
Connects to target IP and modifies logs
  Performs all available deletions
Disconnects if bonuce count = 5
Completes missions I have running using same method as above.
Provides me a listing of all secret servers I know of, their IP, whether I have admin, their defense level
Automatically reruns above tasks at 5 minute intervals
Newest features:
  Bypasses research "update" overload
Found a new way to get -x% CPU and -x% Mem. Where x is whatever number I feel like it being. Ask the right people, my server was at -24k% CPU at one point.  That's %, not CPU.

Plea:
Listen to the public. Fix their game and I can help you fix these holes, plus others not mentioned. Or...ban me and continue to let the holes be there and the public suffer.

I am C/Cing this message to the SI forum where I am active. Look for me there. :)

Above post is true.

After careful inspection of the revelation servers, I have found that five are installed, one of these occurred while I was cracking it at approximately 0130 game time. Four installs are ready to be completed and another will be ready at 0530 game time. Assuming that they install almost perfectly six hours apart, the end of the "round" will occur at 0730 on the morning of Friday November 28th, game time. The first disinfect will be complete in 184 hours from 0130 game time, or approximately 1730 Wednesday December 3rd game time.

Whether it's HZT's doing or not, there seems to be someone or some group, organized or not, bringing about Revelation Day.

Just a head's up.  :16:

Hey HJ. Remember the first time we ran into each other? Had the hour long process killing standoff? Think the game will ever be that fun again, or is it gonna end up being the race to Revelation? Honestly, I think prizes are going to make it less likely to be the former. I'll give the reset a try, only because it's something new and I'm already paid in. I DO long for the old days however. *sigh* Here's hoping Emi has some new stuff for the reset.

5/26 activated=~24% Pro-rev
A minimum of 6 servers pro-Faith/deleting.
6/26=30% Pro-Faith
15/26=~46% noninstalled pro-revs.

Pure facts which dose speak against Faith. However, Faith does have a plan which can stop the current progress of revs. We just have to play our cards right.

I saw the attacks on the Rev servers as well, I'm not saying it's a sure thing or anything, just that if they really wanted it, they could make it happen that quickly right now. It doesn't look like they really have the brass for it, however. I saw a format on one of the Rev servers which should be done soon too.

Title: Re: Zombie-Fest. V1 Rev out, start activation of revelations.

I've thought about this; if you're talking about installing v.1s and getting rid of them to stall out a few 6 hour periods, I'm not very optimistic. Eventually the pro-Revs will get lucky, and they only need to get lucky a few more times, whereas anti-Revs have to KEEP getting lucky until they disinfect. And even then, the pro-Revs can just IP change and start again.
