Title: IP Database
Post by: Andreas on June 28, 2008, 12:50:48 PM
I would like to put all my IPs in a specific order which makes it faster for me to find. And the secret corps servers are in deep caos in my poor database. Coud you fix that? That would be nice.

There's no multi-quote feature, what do you expect me to do?

You can easily quote several times in one post. Just press quote and copy the message. Back and copy next message and then you paste them both in the third one without posting several times.

I'd really prefer to not go through that.  It takes up about the same space either way.

uh huh.. back to the topic at hand...

yes, it has been requested before, but hell.

i can only think of two ways to organise:

by name
by ip

my suggestion was to add a *last* option

to be honest, i would prefer a search function, but one step at a time

I'd prefer a function where you can custom reorder IPs however you want... you pick the system.  This all takes time though.

Not that much time though. When looking for missions I do more work than one time reordering. Another request as an addition to this from me:
Is it possible to make game to remember page where I did a selection of a server? I mean that for example I'm on second page, bounce from a server. Then screen goes to the connect session, then I enter IP Database and have to go to the 2nd page again. It's not that bad now, but after addition of more servers, when it will be let's say 5th page, it will become frustrating. Just a suggestion though.

Maybe after a certain number of servs the # per page will go up?

A simple move up/move down? It sure takes time but you could also add Move up 5/move down 5 or type in how many IPs you want to jump.

maybe an automatic route through servers too, like you can set it to automatically bounce through servers so you don't have to do the repetitive work......... anything to add?
