So automatically your research in specialized softwares is 10% faster, which can then be increased. Just seems like a poor definition. Perhaps a slight text change to reflect the true nature of the ability would be better. I.E., "software research and usage are faster".

I can plug in 12 hours on certain research tasks and end up only having to wait 9 hours for instance. This works well for the time dependent processes such as hide, encrypt, decrypt, password break, etc., but it also saves tons of research time.
There may be changes in the future which will help it all make more sense as well. :19: Title: Re: "The software will run faster for you" Post by: DamascuS on June 02, 2009, 06:59:33 AM I've noticed recently too, that even with 20% on the password break ability, the timer always starts from 1 hour. I could have swore the ability was supposed to shave time of that.
