Title: anti-virus vs virus balance issue
Post by: siremi on July 09, 2008, 12:32:13 AM
Some balance issues regarding virus vs. anti-virus

- The anti-virus time has been set to 15 seconds per Mb for local disinfect and 15 seconds per Mb for remote disinfect. (same for local and remote)
- local NPC disinfect now requires remotehost resources to run the anti-virus at virus version

So the pay for a disinfect mission would be about 266 HPD / hour, but the chance to spawn a disinfect mission when installing a virus was reduced.

This pay is now higher than delete missions.
Delete a file that takes 7 hours and 45ish minutes pays 385.33

Not sure if you are aware of this or not.
