Title: Story Missions
Post by: BlackPhantom on June 10, 2011, 02:30:45 AM
I have been thinking that perhaps in addition to the current set of missions, there could be story line missions added to HP.
These missions would be independent and effect only the player doing the mission. The missions could rank from easy to hard and could add some depth to the game. They could range from destroy file A on this server, to break into this server and upload file B before event C happens. When the mission is completed the player could get a badge by his/her server, or get some power points. Though I am not sure how these would work out with game resets.
Just a thought, please feel free to tear it apart.  :13:

A lot of games have a "campaign" play mode where you go through a set of missions related to a "story line" that has something to do with the group or whatever one's affiliated with.

What if we came up with a story line or campaign mission set for each faction? Maybe also make it exclusive to the hacker playing it? Put a button in the "Your Ability" area under the avatar which will open a set of faction campaign missions that will earn bonus abilities and standing rather than HPD and AP? We could have several different levels to get through with a few distinct missions in them and if you don't do it in a certain time you start that level over, but in order to get any rewards you have to complete each mission in the level successfully and pass the level?
