So why did the game reset after all? There were only 8 out of 10 virusses installed. Wasn't the countdown supposed to cancel?

I've been downloading a Faith AV since lastnight, but when I tried to finish the download today it turns out the host IP address doesn't excist anymore. It *was* a secret server, but don't remember the company name.
Guess my efforts were all in vain, maybe an attempt by the game owner to prevent people from stopping doomsday. In any case, I'm not returning.

What if you change your IP and you have virii installed on other servers? Can you still collect their income after the IP change?
