I gather that once the Revelation Virus does it's thing the game resets.

What perdiod of time goes between a reset and that moment?

I jumped out of niewbie protection after the second day of playing the game and before I even knew what it meant he he he.

But I have played a few of these type games to realise the most important things are research and to get yourself protected before even thinking about going hunting 

So far so good :-)
