Really?  Because Triadian and Gin are both Icarus I think, and they both run lots of missions... probably up to decrypts now though...

Unhide would run unhide processes faster, for what it's worth.  Other than that, like gs said, any process involving time with that software will be faster (most notably research)

So automatically your research in specialized softwares is 10% faster, which can then be increased.

I'm a pretty laid back person.  If you are going after one of my adware for a mission (Wakizashi 50kbs V 1.66637) that's fine, I probably don't have the mission anyway so I'm not going to question whether or not it was for a mission.  All I ask is that you leave the bw open so I can upload a new one when I next get on, and if you message me and tell me when you're going to be killing it so I can collect that would be awesome   

But if you start uploading your own virii after you kill mine I will take that as an attack, whether you killed the original virii for a mission or not.  I'm not going after your virii to make space for mine (if I was I'd actually have a fileshare AV... and an adware AV higher than .5 ... but those noobs blocking 3 bw with just one of their .1's just bother me, sorry if I drop your 3 so that my 50 will fit onto the server) I'm just filling empty servers as I come across them.

If you're not sure that the virus is me or not you can always VI it, but right now I'd just assume it was because I don't think anyone else has my adware...

Started it on someone's remote server, shows owned tag and my IP on the running protect I started for them... when did that start showing up or is it a bug?

That should be changed, because it's pretty useless...

Nope, when you switch it clears any positive rep in that one down to zero, so you'd be back at zero again.

The real question is would you get points for those first ranks again for your old faction, or would you have to rank back up to get points again...

Eledran I've been suggesting missions based on standing since R2 when the faction update was starting...

I would say this is the best bet, or something similar (as they do in another game I play)

Factions each have a disposition towards the other factions at any given time.  Faction player actions against another faction will then affect the disposition of other faction towards their faction (if I'm Hakuza and I do a S&D mission on an Omnicron server, Omnicron will like Hakuza a little bit less).  Then, as dispositions get to a certain point they would result in higher targeting of missions against that faction, maybe bonuses applied to payouts against that faction, etc.  Then, you would have random disposition changes obviously (maybe Hakuza and Omnicron reached a deal providing for reduced attacks for each side, which sets the dispositions more on the neutral side)

Where would you get that idea.   

Can you display the person's current place as well on the friend list (for power ranking?)
