This is one of those rare occassions on which I agree with you HJ. I was hoping that the game would progress a little slower in this round. May I suggest you tweak a few settings Emi ?

May I add the suggestion that this can be done by installing some software on ones own server (like a locally installed downloadmanager).
Then players will have a choice if they want to sacrifice some system resources to benefit from this feature.

I don't think this is a problem really. It seems you are just being impatient ... upgrade your bandwidth to 20 kbps first and things will be alot easier.
And there will always be a better file somewhere else some time (either on NPC or private server).

A new round has started and I suggest we all forget about sentiments from round 1.
Let's just start as neutral towards eachother and see how thing develop this round.

So be nice to eachother for now 

In general, this should be considered cheating.
Who wants to play this great game in such way anyway, where's the fun in that ?
But that's just my opinion.

Will this reset be completed instantly when the timer hits 0 ? Can we start from scratch immediately after D-day ?

Just hack the people that are ahead of you and kill their running process.
Then you are ahead and you will be vulnerable to attacks ;)

Let's not get rude with Emi. Let's not forget how much fun we all have had with this great game of his.

Offcourse I know, I don't want mine desinfected either.
But I have long time ago accepted that it happens, people get paid for it.

I was answering Sebs question on how it will affect him : he will have fewer profit opportunities. He will have one way less to make some HPD.

Virii on private servers don't spawn desinfect missions (if I'm correct), which means less profit opportunities for everyone.

You've tickled my curiosity ..... who actually is the unfortunate one ?

Using a notepad works well, I use it too, but I like AD's suggestion.

A little button named 'ADD TO DB' next to PING / BOUNCE / CONNECT would be very helpfull.
