Due to electromagnetic interference True Light is delighted to announce that the speed of the fibre optics cables have increased on average by 250% their normal capacity. All you users will notice a increase in your true light surfer speed. We have also noticed how it increaces the current through most CPU's on the market, some have been tested and found to operate at 22x their original speed. Also We are delighted to inform you that the quantum resinance from the field doubles the amount of data you can have stored on your hard drive.

However on another note ALL defences have been compromised, we do not know why the electromagnetic radiation targets Firewall and Password protection software but all forms of defense are useless, intelligence shows that Doomsday may be close.

there will be no changes to game mechanics, except you can view all people on the network, like bouncing through everyone

Can I have links to the posts? Maybe I can find and solve reasons it was refused.
35  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Non NPC generated Missions on: September 22, 2008, 01:15:50 PM
First off I must apologise for the amount of ideas I have had the past few days, sir emi probably flipped when he saw my last suggestion lol.

This one is basically all non NPC servers have a mission board that a player can post his/her own missions on. When the user sets the reward amount it is deducted from the finances IMMEDIATELY. Cancelling the mission will loose the money, you will not be refunded.

This can serve well as an addition to in game role play, more servers dedicated to missions will be set up. After all they should cost resources.

Delete File - 250 Cpu
Memory - 5 MB
Bandwidth - 25KB

Of course the workings are up for changes these are just examples, this stops people posting millions of missions. There should be a maximum of 20 missions, with a maximum of 10 new missions a day.

What do you think?

Hey dont be sorry if you shoot the idea down, its up for debate for a reason, you say what you thinks bad and good about it.

Its all part of suggestions, and your point is valid
37  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / IP map and change to connections on: September 21, 2008, 08:06:47 AM
My suggestion is that a map is put in place containing ALL IP addresses with lines linking them depending on where they are conected to. You can only view your connected network.

For you to be able to see this map you require software called IP spider, IP Spider Block obviously is the anti-version. the IP spider has to be v1.06 higher than the IP Spider Block to view.

The map is updated every time you click on the map button and takes 10 seconds to map one computer, the discovered computers show up instantaneously.

Another Idea that could go nicely to this is friend and foe lists. If the discovered computer is a friend it shows up green, if its a foe it shows up red. If its an NPC server it shows up with the designated faction colour with either a P for public or a S for secret in it.

Secret servers AUTOMATICALLY have IP Spider Blocker installed and depending on server strength depends on the version.

38  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Change's to research on: September 21, 2008, 07:43:00 AM
Part A
As it is now you can research for 100 hours and the resource costs will stay the same, so e.g 50 cpu 1mb memory.

Depending on the start version depends on the amount it costs. I suggest that every hour of research the costs will increase. But will increase 0.06 an hour for version but 0.03 an hour costs.

Safety caps (For Sir Emi)
You need to use an algorithm which will work out the END resource cost, if the END resource cost is not available an error will be thrown saying not enough CPU or not enough memory. Every hour it will check if the next 5 hours of resources are free, if no a warning will be received.

Part B
100 HPD an hour, or 80 if your a gold member. You can do a series of 1 research to total 100, or 1 bulk of 100 hours which will both cost the same. I suggest that every the longer you research for in 1 task the more of a discount you will receive. I tried to think of a formula for this but could not.
39  HP Info Terminal / F.A.Q. / Re: A little question to Emi. on: September 21, 2008, 04:55:26 AM
Computers run using logic. So there must be an order weather or not Sir Emi put it in. It can be things like ID, alphabetical, time of creation or on the programming side first found, lowest bit sequence. As for what method used I cannot tell you.

It is highly unlikely that a Random algorithm would of been used.
40  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Add research to task selection on: September 21, 2008, 04:00:35 AM
On the Running Software screen there is a box which can select ALL of 1 type of file then either kill it or complete it.

I have recently researched quite a lot and tried to complete them all HOWEVER research is not in the box?

I am suggesting research tasks are added to this box.

This feature IS needed to keep a balence and stop players wizzing off into the billions per day. It is 100% player controllable so if you dont want your user reset fight for it.

As some others are aware (who play other MMORPG's I play) I am quite seriously ill. I have gone from playing 7 Games to 1, The Hacker Project. My condition is expected to get to a stage then start getting better, however this does not nullate the possibility of me fading away.

I wish myself well and wish all you are well too.
