Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / PSU's
|
on: August 06, 2008, 03:11:26 AM

All computers have PSU's, depending on the PSU depends on the amount of power the computer/server can use.
So why not implement it here? for each upgrade you get you use more power, the more power the bigger psu you need. An upgrade can be bought from the Hardware dealer, PSU Upgrade (100 watts) x1 = 500 HPD.
100 mhz of CPU uses 100 watts 4 GB Hard Drives use 100 watts 64MB of Memory use 100 watts 25KB's of Bandwidth use 100 watts
May need balancing but what do you think?

Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Re: idea!

In real life deleted software still leaves an imprint on the disk. I have a 100mb image, if I delete it something like 15mb is still being used by the imprint, after around 24 hours when my system has found files to overwrite that imprint the file can no longer be recovered.
SO there is a point to File Recovery software to be implemented, the higher level the recovery program the longer a file can be deleted for before it becoming unreadable. Also throw in a chance for a failier.
'Recovery Process failed, imprint of file #666 has been lost' - Chance for error 'Recovery Process started on file #666' - erm......well someone starts it perhaps??? 'Recovery Process has been interupted' - Someone kills the process 'Recovery Process cannot find the checksum of file #666' - Been deleted for too long.

Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Newbie Protection
|
on: July 23, 2008, 11:37:28 AM

All players start in Newbie Protection.
Newbie Protection stops anyone attacking you in any shape or form On missions a note will say 'Player in newbie Protection' if the target is still under Newbie Protection
To leave newbie Protection
You have to be Level 10 or above You must have 5 Hardware upgrades You must have completed 20 missions
Also to stop Power Gamers attacking everyone a player cannot attack a person 20 levels lower than him or her, if a person attacks someone 20 levels or higher then he/she will loose Level Protection for 48 hours.
Thoughts?
