Now that the free repos are going up, everyone is downloading from them, some will NEVER get to download from it. I think that you should be albe to set a download speed limit. Im not sure how many of you have a media server at home, but theres an opption on them to set the max download speed per download. That way poeple will eventualy be able to download some thing. You can also set an upload speed.
The the speeds max can be overrided if you download it by logging in as an admin and download it from the File/Programs bin.

So all your virii would be there, since you don't wipe the hard drive, you just wouldn't be making any money until it comes back up and connection re-establish, right?
All viriis would be on a pause or if SirEmi decides differently. |

I was playing Uplink and I finally got to the missions were you need to destroy a server. To do so you need to delete the OS.
I think there should be missions like this in the game too. I think that only the Secret servers should have a OS file, it will take up no space at all. It cannot be downloaded, encrypted, hiden, put in to public. The only thing it should be able to is be deleted. There should be a program that allows you to delete it. It takes like 24 hours to do so. Once it is dleted all connections will be disconnected, and the server will be down for a period of time. the time down will be like how long it takes to repair/recover it. The higher the program used to delete the OS, the longer the server will be down for. This is only for extra missions that pay well, it shouldnt effect private or public servers.
It would be interesting, the game will be a little more realistic, more missions to complete, and will help make players have PvP a little more.

Tsar Shockers (0.5 Malware Overload Bombs) are now going up on all servers i find that can handle them as i see fit. This includes ALL secret servers I find that can handle them. I wont push any buttons, but they are in place. Any that are disinfected will simply be replaced and the disinfectors will become targets of Tsar Shockers or potentially a Tsar Nuke. They could potentially be set off in a sort of radiation effect from the bigger bombs, though.
Im al ready doing that to some TrueLight Servers, so if you see a OverLoad called "My Only Sin" Its mine, it to is v0.5. So Il put them on for you. I just want to test out the overload bomb for my first time. |

Theres a log deleter that got out and spread like wild fire. It was a v45.1, I was talking to like 4 players and they wanted to trade me something for my FireWall, all four of them had the 45.1 log deleter. And the other day someone (I think HJ) was having trouble with someone hacking him and deleting the logs with a v40+ log deleter. Who knows who it was, cause everyone has that log deleter.

If what SE said is true then there is literally 1 secret per 9 players at this point.
With the fact that only 1 for every 20 players still play, so its more like 2 secret servers per player. I like the idea of nuking the servers. Also Emi had stopped the advertisment of this game. Round one is a test on how the game works, Emi is just testing this for the way we like the game, what he will do to improve it next round, how we react to him. I think that this round is only a BETA version of the game. I think Emi has a whole list of updates and addons that he will but into play once the serevr restarts. I personaly think there should be another server (world 2, like HJ suggested). That way he can start getting new members to play, more PvP, more programs, new updates, and our ideas that we give actualy get put into the game. All that and this round doesnt get restarted. |

This is only a way to sort you servers. You know how all your servers listed in most menus from the first one you got, to the last on you bought. Any way I was just wondering if there could be a way to set what order they're in. The reason why is that I want to put my private servers at the top of my list and my semi public one at the bottom list. And I dont mean only the IP database, I mean one the hardware menu, research, and what order the the IPs show when you download something from you Gold FTP.

I would be a great help if your trace route would be shown while looking through your IP database. Like when I'm screening for missions, I bounce from one server on my database to a nother but sometimes I connect to a server twice and then start a loop, and then need to start over again. But if I could see my trace route I would now what servers I have been to and which ons I havnt.
It doesnt change the game at all, just a little addon to help you out while playing.
