funny seeing as I am not working with anyone this time. As nice as it is getting help with research all the BS of being in a group isnt worth it this time around.

I dont speak up much on here or the old SGP forums for that matter. More important things to do normally 1
I was the co-leader of TNW last round till we merged with SGP there at the end.

why do i feel like I just got dragged into this since I was accused of giving out sgp IP's just after I was let in as a member? I didnt get hacked until after i logged into the sgp repo server so someone else was the leak.
4  General Category / HP History / Bot programs. on: November 30, 2008, 04:25:11 PM
I have heard several people mention bots to gather missions and complete them and one that enters every possible IP address and tries to connect then add to the IP list.

Can anyone confirm these?

I think that both are major exploits and shouldnt be allowed especially the second one because if it runs fast enough IP change imunity would be worthless.

Short list of v149 log deleter holders (as far as I know)

Me, Dama, Zand, pen
Donn and GS (and probably others in EoD by now)
Maybe Rio?

UMM, Pen and I dont have the 149, we must have missed that office memo 1

Its a nice idea in theory Dama, but I wont be a part of keeping Revelation on any of my servers. It screams MAD, mutually assured distruction.  and all it would take would be a couple guys with itchy fingers and the server resets.

Make sure you test install and disinfect times as well as if it reports the IP when its downloaded not just installed as promised. See if there is a time between being able to install copies after they have been AV'd.

And if you get a chance test the remote malware attack, im interested to see how that works.
8  HP Info Terminal / F.A.Q. / Re: Research time out? on: September 25, 2008, 02:07:22 PM
Its a good idea to stagger the research so it doesnt all complete at once. I started my PW research 3 days apart and just before i completed the first set started a bunch more  to raise it 4 levels each. It may not go 1-200 or even 100 in 7 days but once i finish it out and feel semi protected again I will deffinetly be working on more income for my next project.

Level 96 took approximately 9 days and 144 about 17, and I still have 2 batches to complete out.

Add my name to this list 1 I just completed a 144.+ password. More Research still running.

I started  it from a .1 in case anyone is interested in how 1

You dont give an eight year old the keys to your car and you certainly dont let a suicidal person near a gun. So Why let them play with the equivalent of a nuclear weapon? Take him down for the good of the community.

the size of its mostly prestige isnt it? I mean other than your personal server who could install that on anything, not to mention the download times. Unless the cash bonus off it is better than X number of .1 fileshares using the same amount of BW............ But regardless its an amazing achievement having a version that high 1
12  General Category / HP History / Re: Revelation: Good for the game? on: September 03, 2008, 10:58:47 AM
Its posted that Faith works much faster than a standard AV. That being said good luck researching Revelation. It shows up as soon as it completes downloading on the list of doomsday servers, unless its SGP with there uncrackable defenses doing it, all they would need to do is get on your system, kill the research, stop any uploads or downloads and probably load a malware on your system. Even if you change IP the Virus will still show your location.

Faith Anti-Virus [AV] 0.22 44.00 Gb  that thing takes up some massive HD space
14  HP Info Terminal / News & Updates / Re: Guide update - Revelation Day on: September 02, 2008, 07:17:58 PM
The only war we have (and it has been declared) is against Revelation, i know that for one, i dont have the patience to wait for a 70+ hour disinfection to replace a virii, there are enough empty servers out there. That said, f one of our group is replacing SGP virii, then they should not be using TNW named virii, i assure you we have no war with SGP, if anything we should be standing side-by-side against the current revelation threat.

Peace Out.

I hope that is true.  And if the one member can be identified I will be glad to send the pitbull after that one person.   I did respond to your in game PM already as well as giving you the servers they are using to bounce through.

I retract my previous end statement, I was feeling a little pissy at that point> Im sure everyone understands when your being accused of something after stating previously you where not going to get involved.

to the best of my knowledge we are not on TL servers. If someone finds evidence to the contrary immediately let me know and I will put a stop to it.
