So.....what's the effect of runing 4 1 hour researches simultaneously on 1 program?

Well, personally I don't see why anyone researches for more than an hour at a time anyway. You don't gain any benefit from a longer reaserch time, except that theres more time for someone to hack in and shut it down. And most people dont have 3 or 4x the resources it would require to research say...unhide files 3 or 4 times at once.
3  HP Info Terminal / F.A.Q. / Research Question on: June 29, 2008, 04:29:43 PM
Question about research, I had a few folks slip through my defenses, and I want to boost them quickly. If I have the system resources to run multiple researches on the same program, can I perform 4 1 hour researches on a program and end up with 1 program .024 higher, or will I end up with 4 programs each .06 higher?
4  HP Info Terminal / F.A.Q. / Overloading password crack program on: June 29, 2008, 03:30:27 AM
This is the first time I've ever seen it, so somewhat curious. Any time I've gone to crack a password I've only had the option of 1X, this time it gave me some message about how I could use my hardware to overload it and I was able to use 2x, which took the crack from .1 to .133, does this have a chance of damaging my hardware?

His question was more along the lines of can he install it on their computer, then delete the "executable" as it were, while leaving the virus runing. In order to delete it, you would have to disinfect the system, which is obviously counterproductive to your goals. If you want to keep them from using it, your best bet is to encrypt and hide it, although unless you're using a higher level version of the program, it's nearly pointless to put that much effort into it.
6  HP Info Terminal / F.A.Q. / Question about HDD and IP change on: June 26, 2008, 02:53:25 AM
Not sure if this is mentioned in the guide, and I'll feel extraordinarily dumb if it was. Will performing an HDD or IP change get rid of your viruses on other computers, or prevent you from collecting their profits?
