IP groups would be nice, but I would prefer just being able to order my IPs instead of the default sort by saved.

Lie I said in other threads... you need to better manage your mission targets.

And as for the starting levels they are fine.  It reminds me of the old 286 days.  Now THERE was a slow machine.

Thank you.  I owned a PC at one point that actually DID have about 2 Gigs harddrive space and < 500 MHz CPU.

The game isn't meant to start blazingly fast.  In the end I think we'll actually need balancing to slow it down.

Players should be able to give other players money. It would add a whole new game play element. Players giving private missions, IP's, or maybe just paying another hacker for keeping his IP off of some forum.

This has much too high of a chance to either:
1. become broken with people having the proxy power to slip past the multi-account filter or...
2. become broken with high-level players using a vassal system

I would also add in software as possible rewards both for player made and npc made missions

player-made missions, in essence, with a guarantee that the promised funds WILL be wired to you upon conpletion, is the basic idea.

My thoughts at the moment are related to the catagories of job availiable/level of payment. Or just plain regulation for that matter.

Ajax the interface, so that things like "log modification", "refreshing the active list", or "completing a mission" don't force a reload of the whole page.

Not really necessary + basic HTML allows for more access options (i.e. phone or old PC).

Need a script to start deleting players who aren't online for x days (I'd say 7).  + maybe a vacation mode if you'll be gone for longer than that.  Being able to use other players servs as a platform for free is just asking to be broken.  All I have to do to find an inactive is pay the IP dealer 10 HPD.

Agree.  Also it allows new player to access a database made by a friend or w/e and get all the IPs and PWs for public domains without needing the appropriate PW breach.

I agree with the idea that power (level) should correspond to the cost of changing IP.  Maybe if over the first 10 levels, a player's cost increases to 1k.  i.e.  (level*100 - 1000) for the first 10 levels.

I think sharing research responsibility would make it too easy for players to get high-level programs.  IMO if this gets set up, it will quickly become broken.

Hey, I'm Zyzzyx.  Just started the game a few days ago and love it.  You probably won't like me though because I complain a lot.  No, only joking.  I'll have lots of suggestions to make the game better though, thanks to my (slight) game programming background.  Just yell and scream at me if you don't like what I have to say.
