1) I quoted you to point how how caustic you were, even after I said that it was a joke. You cursed at me, and attacked me with a "who do you think you are" attitude, but swinging yours around like you're someone special. Who do YOU think YOU are to talk to others the way that you did me? Exactly. You had a major chip on your shoulder.

2) Google it. I'm a grown woman unfamiliar with much of today's acronymns too, but Google gets me by.

3) It sure seems that you do. "Who the #*(&@ do you think you are" etc. You might ask yourself what makes you so special that you feel welcome to attack me, even after I told you that it was a joke.

4) That's fine, because this is the straw that broke the camel's back. If I was here just for the game, I'd have never joined the forums. I like to cut up and have some comraderie with some fellow players when I'm waiting for a process to complete, for example. I gave this community a fair shot, what, six weeks?

Overall, people here are unfriendly, humorless, hateful, and disrespectful to newbs. I'll be exiting with all of the other players that make good use of the revolving door. Of course, I've got better things to do than spend my free time with people that complain all day about a game that they won't quit, or get cursed and called names on the forums because I disagree with someone. I'm sure there will be a bevy of disparaging comments about me, but before you start dogpiling again, take a moment to recall the other players that got turned off by the bad attitudes and quit too. I've read a couple exit threads for the same b.s., so I know that I'm definitely not the first, and most wouldn't even bother saying goodbye. I live my life with a perma-grin on my face, tongue in my cheek, and always laughing. The environment for a game shouldn't be depressing, but your negativity here has been successful at wearing me down. I tried to bring life to these forums, and the game. Way to go.

Sorry siremi, you lost another good-paying customer, someone who supported the game. They can't blame you for everyone that quits. I totally understand why you don't talk much on the forums. I wish you the best of luck.

You take everything too seriously. And to think, people have wondered why these forums are so dead...There's only a couple of people here with any humor. Everyone else has a FOAD attitude toward newbs. You do a fantastic job of making people want to stay.

I guess you guys have never seen people say "T!ts or GTFO" in fun on forums before, only I substituted IP for the word t!ts. Do I need to explain all of my jokes?

Donn, it looks like you're responding to me instead of gs 059. Darn the way the forums handles quotes. I wish it wouldn't quote the quote that the person you're quoting quoted.

You'd be surprised. Your written english is better than many Americans. I don't think letting people know that english isn't your first language is necessary. You're great. Americans seem to have greater difficulty with punctuation, which is what makes for more difficult reading than just an occasional misconjugated verb, or improper pronoun.

Why? It should be OK for threads to be derailed, no? I guess if you let threads get derailed, you might be forced with a tough decision of which section the thread belongs though.
