we are going off topic, but i think you should be able to kill crash process once extra hardware is added

I agree. It should be "locked" until the hardware overload has stopped, then cancellable, or it'll die after the "checks" anyway

Seems emi stealth updated a 168 hour time limit on localhost deletes as suggested.

What i dont like is adding the extra hardware to stop the crash, then it crashing anyway. And yes it has happened.
34  HP Info Terminal / News & Updates / Re: New Software: Remote Virus Injector on: February 05, 2011, 01:23:32 PM
Well not really, because the process would just crash so it'd be just as pointless.

I'm pretty sure it using 0.1 bandwidth is actually an error, if you inject malware they each use 0.1 bandwidth too. Bugs bunny.

All hail king Neptune and his water breathers! No snail thing too quick for his water feeders!

I actually find that with hardware overloading, sometimes it doesnt notice you've added hardware to stop it overloading and crashes a process anyway, its really annoying.

kernel [localhost], activate virii file #50478 IP Siphon V 1.52285  [Kernel] crash imminent! Need more hardware to support this process!! 30-Jan-2011 10:45:10

admin [localhost], Sending inject file V 9.97013 on #201714 Basic Remote Virus Injector V 8.45 [Remote Virus Injector] successfully stopped. 30-Jan-2011 10:50:18

admin [localhost] Self-destruct, file #50478 IP Siphon V 1.52285 30-Jan-2011 10:56:50

=/

I think this software needs to be changed so it uses 0 bandwidth not 0.1

Not enough bandwidth on target server! Need 0.1 kbs.

Also ive noticed sometimes it wont take the rigth cost of the program inject (Such as sendign a large file it will show its using like 250mhz CPU) then will after a while cost as much hardware as the file youre injecting, if you get me. It needs some debugging?

Annoying beause i think an inject is costing nothing then come back later to loads of processes crashing =/

Its very CPU intensive and is barely used when you can change IP, the only times really used is if an IP change wasnt ready because it timed out or something.

12000CPU for 0.5 is dire at best

So i think make it easier to run or get rid of the % chance to intercept, and have a constant 30 minute process timer

u jelly?

Destroy hardware, delete / encrypt / hide files, disinfect / capture / destroy virii to gain points.

I suppose
But i figure logic could be pro ratad against the version you "delete"

Oh, it counts  13

Edit: Yet logic bombs dont  21

Unless you malware the crap out of a bunch of people :D

Or most hated of each faction, rather than everyone

Well it does spit out players in the top ten too, maybe power bands could be instigated

Yeah, but to be honest doing that much damage as I did to get that, should be awarded about that much  19
Trading it for HPD would be a waste for me anyway, I need AP more.

thats right - in a week there will be about 5% chance of getting YOUR ip from the mission

some of us arn't in factions that hate us, so we'll be laughing as we get your's.

All the factions hate me, all of them.
