Fellow C64 guy here, as a matter of fact I still have one. Not my original , but I piecing one together off E-Bay .  Also Commodore was the first "portable"  with a keyboard that attached over the front. Was called FMZ or FM?  cant remember now , but it was the first , I have been looking to buy one. Oh the memories of games that didn't have cheat codes " unless you "list "$"" and modify ect...  Anyway , when you lost or died in those games , you heard the tell tale rumble .... rattattatta...( your character being erased) QUICK FLIP THE DRIVE DOOR!!!!!   13  One of the very first cheats I might add. How this subject puts a smile on my face  1 1 1

Unfortunately, half of our paycheck comes from junk mail. If you reduce this stuff, we get paid less or get laid off. It's a sad fact. We really don't want to deliver it because we wouldn't want it in your shoes, but we know that we must because it's our paycheck we're delivering.

Well , paycheck trumps junk mail.

Exousia - that is too funny!  I have been thinking of trying my own version of "DDOS" for those junk mailers. Since I live way out in  the stix, I will just let my two Pit's loose and deny any service to me , whatsoever, and since it is not fair to the postal worker to have to deal with such , I will post signs along my half mile driveway , instructing them to 'return to sender'

Lemme know how I may improve upon my endeavor, for I do not wish any harm or undo stress upon any postal workers.

I add this in, just because I am new here.  When I first came into the forum and read some post, I was intimidated by the negativity of certain replies and just plain hate hijacks. I have played a few other games and was active on the forums there , but here , I saw something I wasn't sure I wanted to get into. I Like the game play so I stuck around and realized after talking with some of you that , you are indeed helpful and not all evil.  However just wonder how many other new players have come in here and said " Oh H**l No"  and exit stage left.

Thanks to those that have guided me through, my newbish questions.

English has rules?

I always thought of them more as exceptions.

Exactly , We like to make up our own rules , words and meanings. And hope it catches on in the mainstream.

Well, it makes sence that with a shorter pole you are less likely to pull it out then hit something then it is that you'll hit it with a longer pole. But everyone knows bigger is better. For example: US declares war against Russia, you would want to have the biggest army, the biggest nukes, the biggest ships and subs, the biggest gold reserves, the biggest alliance, and the biggest chance of winning. Everything thats anything is big, and the bigger it is the more important it is.  1

I think the whole Russia deal would be based on a "Little Bluff" with a "Little Puff" We are Americans , we are founded upon fear. We have been tricked into fearing everything and we have the "studies" to prove it, and so projecting fear upon others has become second nature. We believe it so you should too , or else!  21

I always weigh in the usefulness of the derailment.
