But I want to click my breakers, unhider, hide, stuff like that and then hit run to run all of them at once, rather than have to go back to the files and programs page for each individual one.
Ahh, my bad, for some reason I was thinking the generic start option was there and run would in this case start the more temporary programs.  You're right, and it seems especially odd since install is there.

I still keep seeing new virii named riolic's that are owned by neo....

 Generating virus identity report:
 Vir file: #196828 -TNW- Riolic's 164 V 5.456
 Vir type: Adware Spam Daemon
 Vir owner: Neo
Checking for remnants of owner IP...
 nothing found.

Welp either
A> Neo and Riolic are working together
B> Neo and Riolic are the same person
C> Neo managed to use VB without anyone else noticing
D> ummm  can't think of a D but DD's sound fun.

E> Neo likes to rename his virii to try and confuse people
F>  Some Riolic viruses have had their activations canceled or were forgotten for some other reason.
G>  Other people downloaded that particular adware because of F and use it.

I've seen evidence indicating that both of these are true.  Hell, I even have one of that filetype waiting to be activated (I took the activation from someone who disinfected one of my virii.)  The file seems rather widespread, while writing this, I happened upon someone who had a renamed version of it for example.

Also Run is missing from the drop down box in programs.
Well, right now there are 1-2 extra pages to click through for every program you run, so, without a fairly major change, or a series of popups, that makes sense.

Ok... while I wish that was my server (daily revenue - 2.8 million give or take) there is ONE explanation as to why it might not have been full...

If someone else had hacked into the server and the user of the server got spooked (these things happen) then most likely it might have been reformatted... (though if it is v 1 fileshares it would probably have been much easier to simply leave them running and capture the processes... not sure if putting spyware would work if there was no one collecting the virii, never really played with spyware
With those stats, a format would take 133.333 days...  So that's rather unlikely.

Out of topic: Is Malware AV now working?
Yep, has been for quite a while now apparently.

As per the previous thread, the Logic Bomb is TNW too.

Or, you collect the 4 parts of an IP address, e.g. aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd each from another mission and the order from another one. Then when you assemble them and get the IP you go to collect some nice reward from there 1
In that specific example, a mission for the order seems a little silly.  There are only 24 combination, it seems like any mission is going to be harder than just trying those.  I'd suggest giving the order as you get them.  (i.e.  On completing the second mission, "You now know 2 octets of this IP!  xxx.168.xxx.20").

I like the file assembly mission idea a bit better though, current file spawning feels like it needs something to supplement it after we get a certain length into a round (like now).

I dont see how it would be difficult to set up, it would basically be based on the same system that is now used for the files/programs, with the multiple check-boxes and such. It would be rather like the phpBB messaging system that exists in most forums, you just add each recipients name to the 'to' field and hit send, rather simple if you ask me.
It should basically be a matter of adding two lines and some curly brackets really.

The cost to install is 3512 AP each.  So 3 days before it finishes activating I can't do much! laugh laugh
Gah, I somehow managed to leave a zero off my 32000 when I tried to check and couldn't figure out what went wrong.  I feel much better now. XD

Got a questin. How many AP does it require to activate that thing. Are 3K enough?
Only 632 for that one...  Wow that makes my Adwares feel worthless.

...Wait, what?...  Last I was aware, malware disinfects weren't working...
That was fixed about two weeks ago...
Apparently I'm not aware of much.   16

Anyway, kudos, I wish you'dve added an update so I could've thanked you then.

Some one is disinfecting my malwares, which are destroying their HDD, on TL server 45.203.140.212.
Is it right to treat this person as Pro-Revelation? As he/she is slowing the destruction of TL.

Thought I just ask, because Malware isn't a virii that uses up TL BW.
...Wait, what?...  Last I was aware, malware disinfects weren't working, and even if they were, your malware, which you reported earlier as being the v2 out there, would not have any AV capable of disinfecting it.  No overload bombs over v0.5 are capable of being disinfected atm.

...Weird. 3

You ARE aware of the Hardware requirements to run a Revelation virus, right? Reminder:
With those requirements, you won't actually spawn a server with 400kb Bandwidth for virii until you pass version 1.75..
You ARE aware that there has been a v1.76 server since last Thursday or so, right?...  In the coming weeks, it seems likely that we'll see quite a few higher than that.
44  HP Info Terminal / News & Updates / Re: Revelation Day scheduled addon - Sun, August 31 on: September 03, 2008, 11:05:20 PM
As I understand Faith can disinfect Revelation in half the normal time correct?...
According to every forum search I can think of, if he ever gave any time estimate other than saying it was about the same as activation time,  the post no longer exists.  I've seen the half number flying around a bit, but it is most likely just speculation

I thought you can only complete the activation of a Revelation virus every 6 hours?
So even if the infection started at the same time, you cannot complete the activation of another Revelation virus within the next 6 hours.  confused2
The thing is, the game guide talks about preventing revelation from destroying the world after all 10 have been activated.  It implies that if all 10 are stopped, then the world is saved (though it seems the reset still happens in this saved world somehow?).  If the disinfect time of the most recently activated one is over 24 hours, then that is impossible.

...Furthermore, if it takes 40+ hours to disinfect, activating one every 6 hours would still be troublesome.  In that case, if you were coordinated and activating v0.1's, nobody could keep you from getting 7 infected, at which point you would be be deadlocked if you had steadfast disinfectors.  If the 40 number is right, and activation and disinfects scale like normal viruses, then a coordinated group, installing a 0.136 virus every 6 hours, would be impossible to stop.

Have you ever played a MMO like EQ, WoW, etc?  Coordination is all it would take.  10 people all cordinating together to each activate 1 at the same time then hit the remote overload all at the same time.

Now someone suggested that Faith is suppose to be 10 times faster than normal so all they would have to do is take them up to .3 to prevent it from happening
The activation thing is a global timer.  Meaning that once one has finished activation, nobody in the game can finish another activation for the next 6 hours.

This is well deserved and has been a long time coming.  I don't comment much on public activities, but I have to say, I would support this course of action even if I had nothing to do with SGP.
