I can't speak for the community but I think it should be released now along with any of the other Faction Missions that have yet to be released. I myslef feel that round 3 should be as update interruption free as possible so release it and let the HP community see how it works.
Question....why is it that Gold members can hold more of this virii than non gold members?
Yeah, it is too unbalanced. While non gold can get 1200HPD*15virus=18000HPD/hour with 0.1; gold get 1200*30virus=36000HPD/hour with 0.1. I think gold limit should be lower, or non-gold higher (I prefer this last one). If not, gold will rule the game, as they could be able to have better hardware and better software, as they can buy it throught the soft dealer easily |

Name: Cash Cow Virus Description: A huge worm that requires a lot of resources to run. Only one of those beasts can be installed on a server. The cow will target a mega-corporation account and suck huge chunks of HPD. Can be installed on any server, if resource requirements are meet. Resources: 30X File Share resources / version Income: 20X File Share income / version Restrictions: - only one can be installed / server - when collecting, you are prompted to target a faction account to suck HPD from - 2.5% of collected HPD goes to negative standing towards targeted faction Please comment  What about AP? *Eledran wishes it has not a AP cost due the fact it makes you to loose standing... |

Note you have to make it in a percentage that disallow having a +100% probability of getting the target DB with the 15 tasks aviable for each target from each gateway. It it reaches 100% or over, you have just to run the program the 15 times and then click complete untill you get the db, at the first round of runs.
It would be around... 1% prob ALWAYS? The prize is too juicy.

The only real reason for joining 2 groups is to be a spy. And honestly the best spies are the ones that have no group affiliation.
I do agree. IMHO, if you try to be spy, you would not like to be leaving flags at your back saying: "I am a spy, and I work for the groups x, y and z" If a thing like that becomes true, I will be on ROFLMAO mode. |

It looks great. But around groups, I think the groups admins have to give authorisation to their members when they want to join 2 of them at twice.
So, for example, I get into a group and I want to join another one at the same time - extremly weird thing, I do not do things like that -, BOTH groups admins would recive a warning around the player. The names of those groups would be not be shown but the tags and ONLY if that group has their tag showing allowed.
Them BOTH admins would have to allow that multi-group membership before it is allowed on both at the same time. but if any refuses that situation, the player will get a report saying him to leave the conlictive group or the new group (for him/her)

The only person I can think of that EoD hunted the crap out of was JeffGreenThumb.
you = /fail I think I will let the guessing game running for a bit more... Strange I don't know too many people who are new to a game to act in quite this manner....I am still sticking by my alias theory and don't give a crap if you agree or not. Nope, not an alias. Somebody has been posting at a forum, on private sections for the staff, all the info he had of the R1, with strategies, plans and extended gameplay explainings. Then I took them. I am a little bit leecher, however I do not like to be one of them. I have been laughing a little bit. Sorry, but I could not resist to. Well a lot has changed since R1, so a bunch of that information will be useless I think I have seen it is so useless, many went that way with the factions update and the tracers, due to the bonuses and the thing you only had to be carefull with the logs. |

also remember that more people you invite into your group the more people who have the ability to stab you in the back.
Yeahp. Actually the main reason why there aren't a lot of groups (I think) is that it's not game supported in some manner. So mostly you work alone until you find people. SI and EoD are gone, their leadership quit playing at the end of round 1 or beginning of round 2. SGP was disbanded by ebolla after round 1 when most of the founding members quit or had already quit. TNW was ours, but most of the founders (besides me and Dama) either quit or went inactive. According to my friend, he has just told me EoD disbanded as their co-leader quit the game without even some (public/private) goodbye words, their website went inactive and deleted by the hoster, among with all the forum, containing their threads, ideas, plans, coordination,... and then the leader did not reactivated it, at the first weeks of round 2. SGP was disbanded, according to some internal members as they stayed on the forums becase of some no polite actions from HJ, at round 1. I have not found so much yet around SI, but it appears the bad standings of his leader (HJ) with all the comunity (making it general, I guess he would have some great standings and relationships) make SI to a fail. BTW, my friend does not want to being known, but he had to quit the game after he started to being hunted down by EoD when he tried to get software from Human on a "authorised" transfer. He got the v10 (something) my friend had and then he nuked my friend. Does anyone smell what I smell?? Is it cookies? I like cookies.  But seriously, who's your friend Eledran, it's not like he's playing anymore so it won't matter. I also love cookies. Seriously, gingitsu, I do not know what do you smell around. Some data was got from web cache from some servers and completed with past ingame messages. I have said he quit, but I did not said he would return, as he is going to do for round 3. His nick is related to the cosmos.... That is all I will say around his nick. His standing for round 3 will be around helping others as much as he will be able to. At last, he said that. EDIT: not seen last ginjitsu post about possible aka. Did the "friend" had any alt? maybe he told me the alt not the main... |

OMG! Only one?
Come on, are you joking? I am the player #13363 and there is only one group all among the lot of players?
Been looking throught the forums, surely not up-to-date as you say there is only one, but there are those groups:
-SGP
-SI
-EoD
What happend to them?
Remember this is a hacking game...and why there are a few hacker groups most hackers tend to work alone......occasionally working with others when there is a common goal. IDK if I will be true, but I guess more groups would raise at the round end in order to raise quicker their software. |
