3  Feedback Terminal / "Bugs" and Problems / PvP missions not expiring on: June 18, 2011, 01:17:15 PM
I have recently taken up a PvP mission and deleted all the files on the user's machine and erased all my logs. On the mission data tab it says that the expire timer for mission is at zero, but it stays at zero and never expires. This is annoying because I enjoy PvP missions but I can't take out more then three missions. Please resolve this bug asap.  helpsmilie

I have never played slave hack, the idea just sounded interesting to me.
6  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Story Missions on: June 10, 2011, 02:30:45 AM
I have been thinking that perhaps in addition to the current set of missions, there could be story line missions added to HP.
These missions would be independent and effect only the player doing the mission. The missions could rank from easy to hard and could add some depth to the game. They could range from destroy file A on this server, to break into this server and upload file B before event C happens. When the mission is completed the player could get a badge by his/her server, or get some power points. Though I am not sure how these would work out with game resets.
Just a thought, please feel free to tear it apart.  13

I have been curious what people think what makes a good hacking game. Is it MMOishness of The Hacker Project, the visual excitement and suspense of Uplink, and/or the deep and different game play mechanics of games like Neuromancer? I want your people's opinions. My opinion is that I like the challenge and competition of The hacker project, but I also loved Uplink's visual flair and depth. And who could forget Neuromancer's unique story, and fantastic view of the internet from the mid 1980's.

Hello all, my name is Chris. In the game I go by BlackPhantom. I just started out maybe two week ago, and all I can say is wow. This game is great, even better then Uplink  laugh. In real life I enjoy programming and playing my trumpet. I hope I can have a great time on these boards, and in the game.  1
