Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Re: Software Deleter/Recovery Files, Disk Defragmenter

hmm. only problem with this is that this gives the high-end players the advantage over the newbie players, which ircc was why delete times were universal across the board, so newbies had as much a chance to complete a mission as anyone.
My only critque of that theory is that newbies cant take the high end missions anyway due to being traced/stopped, but that again is countered by the new ap system...
dunno, im all in favour of this, but doesnt the golden ftp mean that gold members are invulnerable to this software anyway?

Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Re: Even out virii playing field

lets not even consider the win-win scenario.
Let's assume i dont want to power game that much, to exploit a neccessary means to get ahead.
i just want to install my virii on my servers, and maintain them.
AT the current rate i can re-instate maybe 13 a day (awake), standard upload, install and hide considered at my level
Now, lets consider there is only ONE other person out there. AT current trend not only am i now making a ridiculious loss in ap/hpd ratio (as kindly stated before me) i am simply handing money over to him. In fact, the only way not to do this is the method stated by virus man.
Now multiply the problem several times over. As stated, it is far more profitable, and ap-efficent, to do dis-infect missions. And with that god-mode ip changer, it is efficent, effective and impossible to stop.
Or is the idea of the game now to go around in a repetative cycle? virii build up, mass virii dis-infection stage where every virii rots, then there are no more virii... except here the cycle ends because it just isnt profitable. Unless we start setting up our own servers to infect o_O

i wish.
it takes more and more aps to install virii the bigger and better they get, whilst an anti-virus stays at 20ap's.
all things considered, i will take out the money factor since bigger disinfect missions = more money
In my position, i would be far more inclined to start dis-infecting since cpu power isnt an issue.
an ip change later, and im in a guaranteed money-making cycle.

This seems like it would be pretty cheap... a higher player could just lock processes on a newer players machine and the newer player can't do anything about it.
reformat hdd ^.-

Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Even out virii playing field

It came to my attention that is now far easier to disinfect virii than it is to install them.
My suggestion is for dis-infects to follow the same system as installing a virii does.
thoughts?

just like to point out:
I dont mind that we're not invulnerable.
I do mind that its piss easy to find out where your gateway is, on top of being not invulnerable.
I don't care that people can overload their software to break into my gateway. I do object to the fact i cannot stop my ip from being located with a single payment though o_O
