saying stuff like what you'll do to help new members/ how many members you have/established heirachy/etc would help imho

No they won't.

This is to make sure the higher-end players do not have an advantage over lower-end ones in this respect. First come, first serve. Although i figured out ways around this, i'll leave that for you to discover.

HOwever, upgrading your memory/cpu means you can run more jobs at the same time, which allows more revenue/less jiggling about with programs.

Although at your level you won't need it yet (im guessing) be careful of memory usage.

or someone else with access to your system don't forget
244  HP Info Terminal / F.A.Q. / Spyware question on: June 26, 2008, 07:36:53 PM
Am i correct in assuming if a v0.1 and a v0.2 spyware was installed on the same server, the 0.2 spyware would be the one which recieved the profits?

does the 0.1 get any ip information?

basically, does the v0.2 completely over-ride the v0.1 in all aspects, or just the money part
245  HP Info Terminal / F.A.Q. / Re: Question about HDD and IP change on: June 26, 2008, 06:38:12 PM
one more clarification -> the ip change will sever active connections

im assuming thats virii on your gateway that's installed lose their connnections, whilst the virii you installed on other computers remain active and accessable/operational?

yes, with the overload bomb it is possible to damage hardware.

No, it cannot go below your starting hardware.

unfortunately even a newbie hacker can uncover your logs.

i suggest getting a higher level log deleter from one of the new servers coming online, or from a friend.
248  HP Info Terminal / F.A.Q. / Re: Question about HDD and IP change on: June 26, 2008, 04:34:11 AM
apparently an ip change stops you from getting their profits. so says when you try to swap.

might be wrong though
249  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Little tid bits for convience on: June 25, 2008, 09:09:52 PM
Small improvements:

A total sum for how much you raked in would be a nice addition imo.

a *last* button for your ip database.

a way to disconnect from certain proxies, instead of having to restart the whole trail.

a way to organise messages by sender/reciever

My actual suggestion: A way to implant something into logs (maybe a monitoring program?) that alerts the owner if someone is tampering with it/trying to recover it. Problem might be the sheer number of data he will get if some newbie keeps spamming *recover* to no avail =/

251  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Re: New software on: June 25, 2008, 06:42:10 PM
any more clarification?

whats the adverse affect on the affected system?
252  HP Info Terminal / News & Updates / Re: Format HDD on: June 25, 2008, 04:39:02 PM
some people like to do that for kicks, even though it gives them no additional money or anything.

P.s, did you delete your logs/bounce your connection?

im guessing you broke into one of the beginning servers but left your ip there.

player-made missions, in essence, with a guarantee that the promised funds WILL be wired to you upon conpletion, is the basic idea.

My thoughts at the moment are related to the catagories of job availiable/level of payment. Or just plain regulation for that matter.
