The Hacker Project - a free online game

It's starting to get annoying now, when you can't trace people who are dis-infecting or downloading your stuff because they changed their ip's.

I, for one, believe it or not cannot watch over my virii every hour or so.

In my opinion, rregardless of how you change your ip, the following should be dis-continued:

Downloads
Dis-infects
Deletes? not sure on this one.

IT might be game-play intentional, but it means they are beyond reprisal. if they pay 1000 hpd to keep their security, i want to pay 1000 hpd to keep my virii safe >.>

and we all know how secure windows is 

take over time should be relative to file size imho.

If this is implimented ip changing WILL kill this process. already got enough bastards dis-infecting my file sharing virii and changing ip's, making them impossible to trace unless they make a mistake (which they did, and paid for dearly)

if they're going to take my virii, i want the chance to stop them.
and maybe teach them a lesson... their fault for trying to take what isnt theres >.>

he means change ip as in change the ip on your log.

although to what end this would achieve (bouncing anyone?) i don't know

imho definitely overpowered.
currently everything has a counter, this needs one too. Hence i support the virus mutation software, or maybe encryption being it's counter?

well duh, if there's spyware sitting on a server im not going to hit *collect* just so it winds up in your pocket now am i? T_T

the top players are probably going to be able to defeat anything that comes between them and their target if it came down to it.

All you can do is hide.

Stealth and espionage is better in this game then brute strength.

yeh, i came to this game because it reminded me of uplink. I remember the transferring money part of it too.

Still.

Currently, there is no real PvP besides installing their own virii on their gateways or hiding/encypring their stuff, which takes a bollock load of time.

Stealing.. meeehh ok maybe for the higher levels so newbies don't get overly confused, but imho this isn't very high on the *must have* list.

Heck, i would rank a story line higher than this tbh
