I think in a group 10 vs. 40 the group of 10 would win.

They're easily coordinated and the 40 would all have to share what they have while the 10 would do share it with a 4th.
Also the 10 would need up more room to spread out the virii they researched bringing the HPD earnage per user up more allowing more research.

OR something alone those lines :D I'd love to team up with some people although at this moment I'm trying to get myself off the ground which is proving harder then expected, I just hope the runway's long enough for me.

Although being nice in this game'll get you some friends, it won't help against all people. So being a jerk here and there can't harm too much. As long as you don't underestimate others and show some respect :D

 

That's actually a trick someone else told me very recently, I've been hacked for the first time today since my HDD upgrade, the clever guy deleting my logs, making it look normal (I wipe my own logs :') ) but I still know he/she's been there. Just can't undelete it.

I think it was the guy who was about 10 min. behind me on the 900 HPD mission 

 

Right, accept a 900 HPD mission that will end when I come home and hope the 4 node bounce through public servers cover my tracks enough :') although a smart tracker won't have too much trouble getting to me 

 

So better not download since if he completes you're download will be for nothing.

BTW What I think right now is really stupid, I download a file however have to complete the task before someone deleted the file. I can't in example download it, when its'done, leave it three hours while someone else is deleting the file. (Starting deleting after my download finished) if he/she clicks task complete before me, my file download's screwed. Meaning I have to time my downloads really accuratly which is sometimes very hard for 15 hour downloads -.-

Hope I make my point, be able to complete downloads if "Task complete" was shown before file delete is at certain point.

As If I care no one doing 5-15 HPD missions, leaves more cash for me with my slow internet :D

If you check posting time of my post, I think I beat you by 4 hours to uncovering Dave's identity.. although at that time I did have a second guess which I debunked later since he/she signed up to the forums meaning it couldn't be dave.

(just matched all the top 18 to the user registrations and hatejacket was the only one to stick out unregistered)
