However, if the version of your virus breaker is less than the target virus, then the capture process will take longer.

For efficient capturing and to avoid time penalty, ensure that the level of your virus breaker is bigger than the target virus.

We should have an option to sell hardware upgrades as well.

Here's the case:
You are very sleepy yet decided to upgrade you virii farm. However, you entered 500 in CPU upgrade instead of BW upgrade for virii farms. Doing that makes you want to delete the whole server. Please, what will I do to that server, I don't want to fill it up with virii.

How about adding a time delay to degrade hardware so it will not be abused.
And like format, it will unload all program when it is finished.

Let me guess... NMap Scanner? 

Well its good to belong to groups who really trust each other and at the same time help the whole community.

Yeah, I see this as good suggestions. However it is very much abusable.

I hope formatting can do this.
But then again if you have 100Gb HDD formatting takes "quite some time". 
Maybe add another software that could permanently delete the log file.

Maybe another option like "Format Log" which also costs 300AP. 
We have "Format HDD with IP Change" and "Format HDD" so I think "Format Log" seems reasonable upgrade.

It would also help others to hide their identity by formatting their previous logs.

But first you need to know the IP.
Purchase IP gives you an IP and the highest software on that server.

Yah, before it is nerfed. 
The best thing is you get the highest software available on those servers.

I would like to suggest to add AP cost when Purchasing IP.

I really really hate to suggest this but the game needs balancing. Its been very irritating that others keeps on buying your IP and while you ran out of AP because Change IP costs 300AP. This is especially abused by high-income players.

Purchase IP is totally abused. 

This is fun, cracked a lot of secret servers today. 

And I think the best cracker to use now is between v2.5 and v3.0. Most secret servers fall on that protection level.
For cracking private servers, keep v10.x, v50.x, and v100.x

@Witcher: You can still use your old approach. Select Password Breaker from the File Section and select Run so all your breakers will run. Then when cracking a server you can choose what breaker to use. In our case we can use a single breaker and run it multiple times. 

Well he can always recover. And that attack is a big big mark in HP History.
I call it atrocity.
